was interested in pipes when I started out 2 months ago, and got the smoktech 18350. seems pretty solid as a concept, but took a lot of tweaking to get it to be a solid and safe piece of equipment... In the process of hacking it and rebuilding it almost completely, it occurred to me that it's just a power source...
Is there a reason why there's no mods that plug into the wall and push variable voltage? If you eliminate the need to go anywhere, and simply use a wall outlet as your power source, you could easily outperform any battery based mod out there...
nice wooden enclosure, a transformer, a few pots, a couple hookah hoses, and you got all the power/voltage/wattage/whatever you could possibly want, for as many people as you want it for...
does this exist somewhere already? Would you buy one if it did?

Interesting idea, I know there was a company at ECC that had created and was selling such a device. The guy kept going on about how it was going to be in all of the "high-end" clubs, it was kind of annoying.
