I'm looking into these atty's as an upgrad from aerotank getting a clone now (cheap and I can learn how to build a coil) and an authentic one in May. Is it bad that I think the Russian looks the best out the bunch?
Since I'm waiting few weeks to get my first bada-- rba any other options I should consider?
Refuse to go the dripper route I've tried it; tastes great but since I need both hands to move that would drive me baths-- crazy. Lol

I came off those aero type tanks and the carts to find all i needed was the kayfun I know have 2 of the 3.1's and 2 of the kfl's and they rock every time. I have heard good things about the Squape my next tank setup ..and the Taifun which is also on my list..for clones I found the EhPro to be the best and closet to the original kayfun 3.1 awesome tank setup.

What makes one version of a clone better than another?

The manufacturer ... a clone is only as good as its maker. The Taifun GT is great because its easy to build and fill ... you can also work on your build without dumping your eliquid. The Taifun is like a giant, better made Evod .. Hcigar Taifun GT is highly recommended.

The Kayfun is also easy to build however, filling can be a pain if not done properly, and there is no chance at holding on to your juice while working on a build. On the other side of the Taifun, the Kayfun is like a larger Protank .. Fill ports, and air holes can be problematic on a poorly made clone, so make sure you check reviews for any particular clone prior to purchase. There are also v3.1 and Lite/Lite plus variations to be considered as far what you want.

The Aqua is a good RBA as well, but I would recommend it as a "next step" as opposed to a first step in RBA's ...

Good advice, I would have hated building the Aqua if it was my first RBA

I mean it's not like super terrible, and the performance is worth the effort imo, the single coil design of the other 2 are just easier to build.

Gotcha
But the taste is better than the kayfun
In your opinion?
Do they have the airflo control?
I'm looking at a few of them in eBay and some say it does some don't say anything
- I like to know everything I can before I buy something on eBay; never know who you're buying from

In my opinion the aqua style tank provides a superior vape than a Kayfun. You need a device that can fire it as most builds will be sub ohm since it's a dual coil tank. I feel the juice control feature makes up for how fiddly it is to get two coils heating up together on the aqua. It removes some of the wicking issues that can pop up with Kayfun. Aqua tanks are harder to coil and easier to wick than Kayfun.

How about one of the new fogger v4s? Like a larger aqua tank with a clear glass section.

Aqua tanks and the new fogger v4 both have Air Flow Control (AFC) and juice control.

You can't go wrong with a Kayfun of a Russian :) the Aqua is a PIA to build the airflow sucks and the tank is Tiny

I actually prefer a tank between w and e ml I change juices more often than most and the tank size on the kayfun is one reason I've been balking at getting it

Ok---- now what's the story on a fogger?
Seen them in searching but that's about it.
Is it another chimney style RBA?

There is a full thread on it on the first page of this forum. It's about 17 pages long. Read that for more info.

The airflow on an aqua is better than the air flow on a kayfun.

The tank is small however.

I agree. The Aqua is harder to coil but once setup it wicks and hits like a champ. My BE Kayfun Lite Plus runs better than my other Kayfun clones. The Aqua and BE are my favorites. I haven't had much luck with my Fogger V4. One more try than it does in a drawer.

I have a Russian 91%, a Kayfun 3.1, and two Aquas (all clones). They're all great, and give a fairly similar vaping experience. The air flow is good on all (and they all have air flow controls - the Kayfun lite doesn't so stay away from that). The Kayfun/Russian is certainly easier to build, a lot easier. However, if I can build the Aqua anyone can. Just ordered a Fogger v4, which I'm expecting to be as difficult to build as the Aquas). I'd suggest you get a Kayfun 3.1 (which I actually like better than the Russian), a Kayfun Lite+ (with air flow control), or a Russian 91%. Easy to build and to get a good performance out of.

Early on, I'd stay away from the fogger v4... Dunno if I got a bad one or what, but I'm having problems getting two coils to fire without a short.. I've gotten it to work, but it's a project...

If you want something to get started on, I'd say a kayfun 3.1... I highly recommend the hcigar one.. It's a few bucks more, but it's been the easiest and most reliable to date ... My Russian gives good flavor, but is prone to the occasional leak.. I also have a fasttech russian clone, while it doesn't leak, it seems to go dry (cotton/metal taste) after about 1/4 the way... Wonder if I didn't clean it enough when I got it.. If you get a cheaper china based atomizer.. Don't fire it up right away, clean/soak it (I use relatively cheap vodka) for a bit and let it dry..
