Taking an m401 batt apart??

How do you take one of these things apart w/o trashing it completly?

Did this last night, used a dead 510 battery, screwed the two to geather and pulled, the 401 came apart nice and cleanly, the problem was I was wanting the 510 to come apart

I depends on what you want to use it for. I need only the connector end for mods. I just cut them in half with a tubing cutter, and gut em. I don't care if I brake the wires because I replace all wires in a mod.

OK But... Ain't got no 510 and want to use 410 guts ???? Male / female put em together and just pull??

I never tried it, so couldn't honestly say. The best answers will come from someone in the Battery Mods Forum. Those guys do some crazy stuff.
