Great article! Especially like this, which applies worldwide, not just in the UK or EU:

It is reasonable to expect e-cigarette technology to improve significantly if a competitive market is allowed to flourish. It is also likely that other safe, or vastly safer, nicotine products will emerge to compete with them.

All this could be jeopardised if the authoritarian and moralistic public health lobby becomes the judge, jury and executioner of the recreational nicotine industry. Their instinctive asceticism takes little account of the desire for pleasure that motivates nicotine users and their obsession with legislation and top-down behavioural control is irreconcilable with the spirit of free enterprise that created these revolutionary products in the first place.

UH YEA! No more free market! No more technology advancement (in our industry)! No More Rights! No More Freedom! Governments are getting too close for comfort. I urge people to take their blinders off, police their own families, and keep our government in check. It literally disgusts me when I look around and read the news. Technology has gotten SO good, it is being used against EVERYONE (unrelated point). How do so many people tolerate so much crap. So many people are quick to give up our freedoms. Eventually they will GET it, when they are directly affected.
