I love my Aro and evod tanks (I use carto tanks too) and we're short on cash right now while I search for a new day job, so I figured now is a good time to start learning how to rebuild the coils I use in my Aros/evods. I tend to buy the 1.8 or 2.2 ohm basic coils from kanger, havent tried the new dual coils yet but plan to splurge on an Aerotank once I find new employment.

Can anyone direct me to good videos or posts that give me a "how to" on rebuilding my coils? I'm really new to all of this and have no idea what I'm doing!

Do a google search for "kanger coil rebuild" and it pulls up a few u-tube videos.

Here's the best place to get your wire. Resistance Wire shipping is free.

Many people (including me) use cotton for the wick. Some use cotton balls, some use Koh Gen Do Japanese cotton and some, like me, use cotton cooking twine (BBY). I like it because it's so easy to thread into the coil using a bead needle (Hobby Lobby).

I use 30g. 10 (contact) wraps around a 1/16th bit gives me 1.8-2.0 ohms.
