OK, Bruce may be a great guy, but he doesn't have these, he just advertises them. I've checked several times, and they're always out.

So - back to my original question - is there anywhere I can actually buy one of these? Or a kit I can assemble myself? Or even just the end caps, since it looks like they'd be the most difficult (I don't have a lathe)? I'm thinking that, with the difficulty of finding these in stock I'd prefer DIY even if I managed to get to that website during one of the rare occasions he actually has them in stock, anyway. I don't want to be held hostage to the refresh button on my browser to get replacement parts. Much better to be able to make them myself.

Use email notification @COV instead of refreshing your browser. It is what I did. You can build one yourself if you want. No access to a lathe? Purchase some delrin and polycarbonate tubing of the correct size. Draw something up and take it to a machinist. OR instead of delrin, you could use the amazing silicon putty used in cooking (available from craft shops) to make the ends. It will work also. I think if you price & purchase the stuff and spend the time to make one, you will find it worthwhile to just get it from COV. Good luck.

I've ruled out COV as a source, because his inventory is erratic and unreliable, and I don't want to worry about replacement parts. I'd prefer to find a place to just buy them, I'm sure it would be easiest that way - and possibly cheaper, but I do have some pretty good sources for things - but I'm willing to pay a little more and have the hassle of DIY if I can be sure that when I need something it's available.

Well if you don't want to purchase from COV, then it's DIY or classifieds. I have two of them, love them so much I won't sell. It is vaping nirvanna in my house with one on my Precious -L. Being able to watch two football games, drink my beer, and vape without refilling or dripping is just awesome.

You could make the ends from the Amazing Mold Putty I am referring to. It would work. It expands slightly as it cures, so I think you will get a good seal. I was going to use it with some clear tubing to make a Genesis atomizer.

Once you get your first MAP you can then just re-build it by ordering the 510 E2 XL's get a pipe cutter and replace when needed that way you will always have a supply on hand. Or you can get some pre-cut 510 E2 XL's, it's your choice.
The MAP Tank is set up to use either way.
As far as his inventory goes these are hand made but it seems like Tuesday's are when he gets them in. Sign up to be e-mailed you will know right away

Well it's hard to get a lot when it's one guy is making them. MAP = mostangrypirate = one dude in cali trying his hardest to make as many possible all while working his other job just to get by. I'm sure if Bruce could buy 100s at once he would, but these are in demand and thats just how it goes. Like people said tuesday seems to be the day he gets them back in stock.

I realize that, and that's why I tried to be diplomatic in saying I'd like to DIY it. But if I need one and can't get it, the reason why doesn't matter much - I still need it, and I still can't get it.

Your right. There are a lot of tutorials floating around the modders forum. I'm sure you can be tinkering and making your own in no time :) I have made some syringe mods myself and they don't take long to make :)
