Hi all! So after all of your input on my Smok big baby beast tank issues I decided to go back to using my Tobeco super mini tank using the Tobeco coils instead of the Aspire ones I always used. The flavor is awesome and clouds are plentiful. On day 3 of this coil and no issues until now. I vaped a tank filled it back up and it sat for about 30 min until I went to vape again.

When I picked up my mod I realized the liquid was dripping everywhere and my newly filled tank was empty. I refilled it and it’s hitting just fine. Do you know what could cause that? No I did not put liquid in the chimney

I'm not familiar with the Tobeco tank, but there are several areas to inspect that are similar to all tanks. There are o-rings on the coil, where it threads into the base. Check to insure the rings are in place and they are seated properly. An Aspire coil has two, one at the bottom where it connects to the 510 pin and the other at the top of the threads where it screws into the base. There is also an o-ring where the 510 pin is inserted into the base. It may have deteriorated or is missing.

Yes, sometimes removing/unthreading top or bottom cap to fill can loosen the head in the base.
Occasionally check head tightness when refilling.

I did notice when I took the top off to fill the o ring came out and looks a bit stretched. I’ll replace it and check the others. Thank you.

Even after the tank has been fine for 3 days and all I have done is refill?
I’m speaking generally. I’m not familiar with your tank in particular. It can still happen though. Things wiggle, gaskets get cuts in them, etc..

I own three super tanks and never an issue. I bet it was the o-ring at the tip. Mine come out as well when filling sometimes so I always make sure that o-ring is seated well.

It seems odd to me that top o ring missing would cause it to leak out of the bottom but what the hell do I know . I was looking at the crown original tank. Have you tried it or do you love the super tank?

Just a guess here.

If the top is not properly sealed, the tank would be more or less loose. This could cause the glass to pull away from the bottom and leak.

You need both sides to be sealed for it to pressure fit correctly.

O rings can go bad/float away, seemingly at random.

It makes sense to me that the top 0-ring could cause leaks. Without something of a vacuum inside the tank, when unsealed (anywhere) it can leak (from anywhere). That top 0-ring is essential to maintain the right pressure inside your tank so that it won't leak, is kind of the simplest way I can describe it. Best of luck isolating it.

The Crown? No. I have been tempted to nab the Crown III though. I like the Super tanks but have recently started using the SMOK prince and it is now my daily tank. Better flavor, better airflow, and holds more juice. Love it. I'm going in today to pick up a second one. The Super tanks will be broken down and packed away. I should add that I have been using the super tanks since they released daily. The Prince is the first tank to pull me away.

My daughter has the Prince tank and loves it but she goes through coils weekly.

There are different coils for the Prince. Some last longer than others. I'm currently testing the T10, X6 and Q4. The Q4 so far is going strong at 6 days. I expect the X6 to last longer but I won't know for sure until the Q4 needs to be replaced. 6 days in and the flavor is still great.

I do have a SMOK Baby Beast that I got with a mod I bought last November and though it outputs fantastic flavor the coils in that don't last 5 days. The coils for the Prince are supposed to be improved and so far I have to agree.

I use Aspire coils in my Supertanks because IMO they have a better flavor and last longer than the Tobeco coils. I get 1 month + out of each aspire coil.

If I can get two weeks or more out of the Prince coils I will be content.

Depending on the watt that she vapes at she might be burning through her coils faster than someone like me that vapes are a lower watt. The Prince Q4 is rated to 80 watts but I vape at 60. At 80 it for sure would not last as long.
