Tank Maintenance

Just a quick question.......my tank feels like it's still putting the same juice through my new carto.......can you boil a tank? OH yeah and it's an aluminum with poly tank.

I run my tanks under scalding hot water and then dry the inside out with q-tips. I've never had a problem with a tank leeching old juice into a new batch of juice put in.
