I having been wanting to buy my own poly-carbonate tubing and make my own tanks for a while. I was wondering where the cheapest place would be to buy end caps for these like you would find on a j-tank or lil mama. I'd rather not buy syringes and use those caps, I am looking for something a little more sturdy. Anyone have any ideas?

The caps are machined to hold cartos and fit the polycarbonate tubing. You could probably find some silicone grommets that will fit snugly around a carto and make a seal inside the polycarbonate tubing. I don't know what size grommet that would be, but that info is here on ECF somewhere.
Try this .... Slip joint washer 27/32 x 9/32 inch made by Danco Co. they work great no leaks, real tight !!!
yes on the 3/4 tank (standard) and yes like the j-tank...... they only work one way they fit into the tank (very tight) and the hole in the slip joint washer fits the carto like a glove !!....( a really tight glove) I will say this I think they work better than some other end-caps out there..............(my 2 cents !)
I found this ... Polycarbonate Tubing | U.S. Plastic Corp., and with the end caps I use , make tanks all day !!
I'm curious John, I buy my Poly Tubing from McMaster Carr because I can order it in 2' lengths. When you order from US Plastics does it arrive in one 8' length?
i was just in lowes the other day looking for something else, and stumbled on the rubber seals for tanks, all different sizes, nice beefy ones. might have to go get some and find a tube
