Chris, what I would suggest is you get one of each and decide for yourself. That way you aren't ordering TONS of something you don't like. After you decide which you like best, then you can order more. I have to add though, that with a tank you're reordering JUST cartomizers, not the whole thing, like the Stardust, so in the long run, it's alot cheaper and better vape, in my humble opinion.

Ditto to this - I have both & I like the fuller volume vape of the tank plus haven't had a burnt taste yet that happens so often with the stardust; also the cost factor; must admit tho that the stardust looks neat. You'll have to try it for yourself, everyone has their own preference. Enoy whichever.

I've heard alot of good things about the J-tank...I haven't personally tried them, but from what i've heard they are good. Whatever resistance carto you're using now, is what you want for a regualr size tank...if you're getting a bigger tank than you'll need XL size cartos.

ooppss...just went back and read and you're getting the 3 ml tank,so that's a regular size...so LR Boge punched cartos is what you'll need.

Carto tank. Beats the stardusts all the heck. Since you're using Boba's, slot your Boge with a dremel due to the juice being VG...helps with faster wicking.

Can I ask you about this? If you slot a polyfill carto with a dremmel arent you worried about 1. maybe ripping up the polyfill during the cutting and 2. what about like tiny amounts of metal shaving left inside the carto?

I am interested in this thread as I have a KGO and want a tank. I, like the poster above, wondered about metal shavings getting inside the carto when you drill the hole larger.

However the more important question is which tank to buy for my KGO:The only tank type device I've used so far has been the Clearomizer and every one CRACKS and leaks juice. I want a quality tank but do not have a clue what to buy. I could use some helpful suggestions on which tank(s) I should check out.

Ohio,in the sticks!
I use a Kgo and also vape Boba's and GJ. I punch two holes, don't like the idea of metal shavings from slotting. All the tanks I've tried, worked good with Boge 2ohm cartos. If you want the easiest tank to use, fill and refill, that won't come apart try this.
ACTv3 (Arry Carto Tank) IN STOCK! - $43.99 : Stormys Vapor Cellar, Electronic Cigarettes & More
It's not cheap, but even my wife loves this tank. And she's not one to mess with a PV at all,for anything more than pushing the power button.
I use the punch tool from Clouds of Vapor, but a saddle valve would work fine.
Hope this helps.
Also I notice a serious muting of flavor with the clearomizers.

Ok, so I got a couple of Stardusts in my mailbox today. The latest version even with the new plastic, that just came out a week ago. 2.1-2.4 ohm Short Wick and everything, and they are horrible.

The draw is way too tight, flavor is muted, and they tasted burnt almost every drag. Not going to be a Stardust user.

No more messing around for me. Just placed an order for a Mini-Sub Tank and some Boge 2.0 punched cartos.

Boge 2.0 Cartos have consistently been the best for me on the KGO Batts. Logic is telling me that the Mini-Sub will work much better than these Stardusts. I honestly don't understand why people rave about the Stardusts so much, they really aren't that great in my opinion. I really hope that the Mini-Sub is the solution I have been looking for with KGO Batts and AVE liquid.

i tried out my first clearo from volt a few weeks ago and i loved it.. for about 3 days. the it would just leak all the time and not produce any vapor and taste burt. i recently recieved some boge 2.0s and iGo cartoz that hold 3.5 and i love them so much more. now i just need my vector LT and dcc tank from vaporbeast that was shipped out yesterday. so excited to try out tanks for the first time.
