I am on my third week with one of mine that I have used almost exclusively and it still going strong. I am using backwoods brew juices (70/30 pg/vg) in it and no loss of performance in that period. I did use a tank atty with my vaperite juices 50/50 and it clogged up in 2 days.

Make sure you blow it out before using; there is a lot of primer.

cheers,

just got my first ego tank atty and super stoked. i just have the one(and nothing else) so i know i'm going to need a spare, i just wont have any money for a couple of weeks. has anyone's tank atty died yet? and how long did it last?

I have two and they have been going strong for over three weeks.

thanks for the tip. i used to clean w/ alcohol but now i'm pretty sure that's what killed my other two attys.

when i got my tank atty, i just started vaping. i'm still a little sick, so i didn't even taste the primer. i'm still 100pg, so i shouldn't encounter clogging.

thanks again

Alcohol will not damage your atty. Don't worry. I boiled mine, soaked them in vodka, dry burned (short bursts) till the coil glowed orange, it's all fine. If you're really worried, try vaping a tank or two of unflavored eliquid (just PG and nic or 80/20 PG/VG) until the juice in the tank runs clear. LGD recommends this method and I really like it--to keep the atty clean between big cleanings. Good luck.

BTW, the preferrred ratio for the eGo-t tanks is 70/30 to 60/40 (VG/PG), but some people use 100% PG with no problems.

All of mine have been going strong for a while and I am an almost constant vaper with them. If you haven't looked, you might check out the pay forward or classifieds forum on here for an inexpensive spare. For some reason there have been quite a few people that haven't liked the tank attys and have been giving or selling theirs for very little. Not sure what is on the block now, but you might give it a try.

Best of luck - pretty sure your will last a while with minor maintenance.

not to change the subject, but i miss california...except for the smoking bans happening all over the place. have you guys been effected down there much?

Yeah, nanny state at its best. OC is a little better than LA and San Francisco, though.

We're more conservative here.
