I should receive my Halo shipment tomorrow. My question is how do you store your mini tanks and triton tanks with liquid in them to avoid leaking? Should I stand them up or lay them on the side? And any other advice would be appreciated. I've never used a tank system before and I am looking forward to the ease of use over cartomisers.

I stand them up. I also don't fill the big tanks all the way, only up to about the 2.0ml line. No reason.

If you put the tanks on plastic or something easy to clean, you'll have no problems. But they will leak on expensive furniture. Just like they are good in a Tee pocket, but will leak a staining drop on an expensive dress shirt. (Evie, meet Mr. Murphy!!)

(Seriously, though, I've only had drips out the bottom center tube, from condensation? From comments, this is normal. Act accordingly.

I also have paper towels and tissues nearby to clear the occasional gurgle, or to dry the inside of the tip from condensate, before it gets in the mouth, yuk.

I have six tanks and haven't had one leak yet no matter what I do to them, although I did find a neat clear plastic spindle thingy that I guess is meant for spices that I stand them up in, wish I had my camera with me, I'd snap a photo. The reason I stand them up is to make sure the wicks are saturated (they're all bottom coils). But I've had them in my pocket, had them on their sides, had them roll around and never had anything leak out of them.

Congrats on the new vapemail! I have a Variable Voltage coming in tomorrow. There is a night and day difference from cartomizers to Triton tanks, and from mini tanks to triton tanks. You are going to love it.

Throughout the day tanks are fine on their sides and in your pocket, they won't leak as long as the tip is screwed on snug. I wouldn't over tighten coils or tips. Just until they stop turning then don't give them anymore pressure. The tip threading can separate from the unit if you over tighten.

I store full tanks vertically overnight, or when not in use. Also be aware that when you take off a tip to refill the ejuice, a lot of the time the coil will unscrew with it, since the silicone stopper that slips over the coil is resting snug against the tip, which is what prevents the juice from leaking into your mouth. So just check to make sure that it's snug and comfortable.

If you get a "pop" or "gurgle" while taking a drag, it's best to roll a tissue or paper towel/napkin between your thumb and index finger into a point and insert it into the bottom of the tank while doing quick short blows into the tip to blow out any juice that has made its way into the center air post. Spin the tissue 360 degrees so that there's no residual juice on the threading, and you're good to go.

they should be kept out of direct sunlight, as nicotine breaks down over many months in sunlight, we're talking 10% every few months, not a huge number, but a number none the less. I'm not sure what happens to the flavour though. Someone on ecf did this experiment, storing nicotine on the window sill and periodically measuring it. from memory they didn't test for flavour.
in a room out of direct sunlight is probably fine, especially with halo's cobalt bottles.

I keep mine in the sample tin as well, or on my battery in my triton case on its side, or in my pants pocket.
never had 1 leak yet, ocassionally I stick a qtip in the tip to wipe up any condensation, and stick a rolled up paper towel or tissue in the bottom hole if it gurgles.
As long as you dont store them upside down you should be fine

I store all my stuff in a tackle box (I use it as a "steeper" too) and they lay on their sides all the time. I've never had a problem. But if you store/lean/vape the drip trip lower than the tank you may get some ejuice in your mouth.

I clean my tanks with water every three days. For thick juices like Belgium Cocoa its everyday.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have a confession to make--I believe that I am very much a heathen when it comes to proper storage.

My batteries follow me where I go. When I am in front of the computer, there is one somewhere to my left and one somewhere to my right. I will fill up a couple of tanks, vape for a few minutes, and switch to another tank. If the batteries are on the charger or taking a rest, the half-filled tanks will sit in random places, waiting for me to make a move. There have been a few times where I could not remember which juice was in a particular tank. Mmm, tastes like molasses--no, wait, maybe it's maple, but what the hell is this called again? Nor could I remember when I last switched the coil. By the way, I find that it is best to do when switching to another powerful flavor. Although I often just wash the tank and coil in warm water and let it dry overnight.

I carry my battery in my shirt pocket sans anything protective. I constantly check to make sure it is still there (unless it's clenched between my teeth), but if I'm not wearing a shirt with a front pocket, I will keep it in my coat or pants pocket. So far, nothing has leaked onto my clothes, but I'm not above using the corner of my undershirt if the tank floods the battery a bit. That would perhaps be drastic, but like I said, I'm a heathen and don't often carry around napkins or protection. Wait, nevermind...

Either way, don't do what I do. I do take care of my equipment (by cleaning the batteries, tanks, and coils), but old and bad habits are hard to break. After all, most of us are former smokers.

That is so me. Currently I have nine mini-tanks and two mini-pro tanks on my desk. Two batteries on charge and the pass-through is connected to the laptop. I carry no less than five tanks to work. One day I only had two tanks and thought I would die.
