Ok been vaping on and off for a few years now and im looking for a tank system. I tried the EGO-T and didnt like all the fiddling i had to do not to mention the light draw. Also have a DCT from Liberty Flights and although i like it i dont like big huge tank on top of my ego battery for an all day thing. I have been looking at the stardust from gotvapes. Does anyone have any comments on this setup or suggestions for something along the same lines?

If you are looking for a more streamlined look for your eGo, you can try the 3.5ml DCT. It pretty darn close to the width of the eGo battery and will look nice on it. I would also +1 the Vivi Nova, however, it will still look a bit bulky on your eGo and it seems you are trying to steer clear from that. The stardust will also work great on there and wont make it bulky.

i ended up ordering a clearomizer from ikenvape. I hope i didnt make a bad choice. The novas look kinda big for what i want.

When trying to find out what will work best for you, there isn't really such a thing as a bad choice... Only learning experiences. Especially with different cartos and clearos etc... When experimenting with new things, it is best to order just one or two of an item at a time, then if they work great for you, order in larger quantities to save money.

Some people love clearomizers, and some don"t. Some models work well all the time and give very consistent results. Other models work great for a few drags then the performance starts to suffer, with these, you will need to tip them upside down every once in a while to get the juice back up to the top.

The Vivi Nova tank is very well regarded by the community these days, but as I have not tried one myself yet, I can't give you any first hand reviews. However it is probably too big for your tastes since you don't like the size or look of your carto tank.

If you want large juice capacity with lowish maintenance, you can also try the EGO Mega XXXXL Dual Coil Cartomizers as well. They look great on EGO style batteries, and work just like a standard size cartomizer, but hold tons of juice.

But in the end, it's like PBusardo says: Taste in equipment and Juice are subjective. So spend a couple dollars and grab a clearo or two, a XXXXL DCC, and whatever else looks interesting to you, and just give 'em a try!

PS Sorry about the wall of text. Got a little longer than I anticipated.

While I personally love the vivi nova, it is about as big around as a nickle. So it does stick out past the ego batteries. The others I can't comment on, as while I did order one of the stardust styled tanks for my ego, when I got it the draw was not just tight but non existent. As I knew I was getting the BB and the vivi nova anyways I just tossed it instead of trying to find a way to make it work. That being said a lot of people love them, and there are things I could have done to make the one I had usable.

I have a 3.5 ml DCT tank I bought that is collecting dust even though I just bought the thing, get the thread cover for the ego battery, it will give it a nice streamlined appearance. I'd also recommed some single coil xl cartos like the ressurectors rather than the dual coil cartos for the ego batteries, the dual coils seem to drian the batteries a lot faster im my opinion. I liked my DCT set up, but like with all cartos I've tried I still get that filler taste, but that is just me, I'm picky lol what can I say. I've actually found that the one thing I thought would be too strange is the the one thing that works best for me, direct dripping. Now I just have to find that perfect atty! The quest continues :D

Thanks for all the fast replies and sorry for my lack of. I work offshore and sometimes am away for a few days. I like the DCT i have and use it at home on my epower but want something smaller for everday. Ordered the ikenvape 1.7ohm clearomizer and am kinda ticked because I paid for 2-4 day shipping and i just got notification that it shipped. I ordered last Thursday. Oh well i cant wait to try it when it finally gets here.

Im very surprised people are suggesting the vivi nova tank! I bought one and yes its a nice design for a good price. The problem I have with it is you have to modify it to get it to work. Right out of the box I could not draw any air through mine using it on a lava tube. I saw the trick to file the positive connector to fix this but mine needed to also be drilled with a pin vise to remedy that issue. Then I got the dreaded and very common burnt taste. The burnt taste if from the nichrome coild wire legs burning into the wick, fiberglass insulation and rubber grommet at the bottom. To remedy this you have to rebuild the head, which I did. Theres a thread on that in the mods section. Once I re machined the head and body it vaped awesome and tasted great. Then a few days later the draw became very tight and restricted again even after changing the head. I tossed the vivi into the trash where it belongs. Anything that wont even function out of the box is a very bad product in my opinion. The vivi tanks are on sale at one place I visited today and I think there's a very good reason why. I just don't have the time required to redesign a poorly designed product. Not everyone will agree with me and thats fine. But if you want to buy a tank and expect it to work and taste good I would NOT buy any vivi or vision products.
