I am so excited to find a new vendor (to me) that packages in needle-nose bottles. I've tested their 7 of newly received juices stove piping on an Eroll and no bad (chemical/soap) tastes from any of them. Soooo... they make a pineapple and its a flavor I steer clear of since I left cartos behind as some of them crack tanks. I posted in the DIY section asking why my pineapple flavorings don't corrode the plastic bottles they come in and was told that the problem of tank cracking is due to their hardness and the PET bottles are soft so no problems with those. So, now, my question is what about Eroll tanks which seem somewhere in between the bottles and clearos... I mean they're certainly not clear. Has anyone tried the classically tank-cracking juices in the Eroll tanks? If so, what happened?

My guess is that they are too thick, and the juice doesn't sit in them long enough to crack them. But on the other hand, I've had juices that supposedly crack/melt tanks in my clearos and so far only one of 4 had gotten cracked. I'm not even sure it was the juice (maybe dropped one too many times). Admittedly I don't vape heavy cinnamon flavors so maybe that would do it.

some flavors contain an Ester group in the molecule. some Esters are reactive with a variety plastics BPA being a well known example
Ester - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
if you have an old CD laying around putting a drop or 2 on the bottom of the CD (clear side) and letting it sit for a day or 2 will tell you if the juice will react with the plastic in your tank. after 2 days wipe it off if you can see a foggy dot on the CD the juice should only be used in metal / glass setup. if it the CD stays clear then its most likely fine to use in your plastic tank. most vendors are aware of what particular e-liquids will fog / crack tanks and list a warning on the product listing.
