Hello there,

i use SilverBullet with XXL DualCoil LR cartos for a long time now, and i just saw the Lavetube and place and order..

anyway - i understood that you shouldn't use Lavatube with LR cartos, so i want to get a tank system..

my 2 options are:

510 DCT (Dual Coil Tank) Cartomizer MOD (6ML) - $9.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--nd

m
y question is - after the carto inside is dead - all the system need to be replaced? or you can replace the carto and keep using the tank?..

if so - which carto i should get?..

(i live in israel so this is the only 2 vendors that ships to me)

Thanks Alot! :)

You just replace the carto in the tank.

Imo u r better off cutting down the outter tube (the tank) to 32mm and just using Boge 3.0 ohm cartos

Here is a pic of my cut down tank

With a 3ohm boge u will get the full VV experience with a LT. It was designed to work with a Boge 3.0 carto/atty

As far as cutting the tank, I used a dremel. However you can use a Jewelers Saw, or a Hack Saw w/e Get Creative..

No carto tank that i am aware of has a treaded end.

i seen like 2 or 3 with threaded end caps on them and not the rubber ends. also i hear that the holes they punch in the cartos are not quite big enuf, and to cut a small slit in ONE SIDE of the carto, is this true?

A 3.0ohm carto will allow you to use the widest range of voltages. Using a 1.5ohm kind of defeates the purpose of a VV PV bc then your limited to using only the lower voltages.
Personally i feel if you want to get a Dual Coil tank, use an XL carto that will actually fit. If you really want to use a Boge, I would just buy a tank that will actually fit a Boge instead of cutting an XL tank down.
Hoosier ecig Supply also sells XL Boges that will fit the dual coil tanks

just a piece of wood to keep the tank from smooshing when I cut it, the reason I like the 3ohm boge is because they work well with my VV PV's giving me a large range of choices for voltage without put unnecessary strain on my batteries, the reason I buy the DCT from myvaperstore and cut them down is because they are $4.65 and I'm cheap

The LR cartos were made for those who only had the smaller batts, 3.7v and below, so they could get a hotter vape and higher wattage. 5v, 6v and VV can use the higher ohm, 3-3.5, cartos and get the hotter vape and higher watts whereas the lower volt mods can't. However the LR cartos can't be used on some of the VV such as the Lavatube and Provari because of the 2 amp limitation. So you just get a higher ohm carto and crank the voltage up.
