To me it tastes like black jelly beans, not as strong as black licorice. Sometimes I detect some citris flavor in the background. I was never a fan of black licorice, but this Pluid does grow on you. I find it to be a nice "change up" flavor when I get bored with my regular flavors. Not an all day vape for me.

And yes, I have heard its not friendly with polycarbonate plastic. I have mine in a Triple V pyrex glass tank.

I'll have to wait until I get a glass tank.

I just don't have the resources at the moment to put towards a glass tank. Just something to look forward to in the future.

The juice sounds like something I'd like to try though.
Someone said it makes your lungs & mouth... numb? Lol first time I've heard of that & not sure if it's complete BS or not. Sounds like BS.
That'd be interesting though, :p.

It doesn't do that to me, but I did receive the "cut" batch that has been diluted. The pure stuff might very well be that potent. Even cut like my bottle is, it's a strong flavor. Actually seems to be a high quality juice. I haven't vaped my tank of it in a couple of weeks...I need to be in the right mood for it.

valley vapes makes a really inexpensive pyrex tank....4ml and 7ml, only problem i have is it fits perfect on my bolt, but i got another mod thats thinner and it's too wide.....anyone know or every compare the ibtanked tanks vs the valley vapes in terms of how wide they are?

The IBTanks are available in 19mm and 25mm diameters. Both of the Valley View Vape Triple V pyrex tanks are 1 inch diameter. I'm not good with conversions of metric and American. Both vendor's prices are comparable.

IBTanked-MiniProvari.jpgprovari&IBT.jpg.IBTanked-large-small.jpg.clear&frosted-tank-1.jpg

I can compare the 19mm vs 25mm IBTanks on Provari's with the two above images. The 19mm obviously is more aesthetically pleasing on a slimmer mod.

The third pic compares the 19mm IBTanks in the XL and standard lengths.

The fourth pic compares the 7ml Triple V pyrex tanks on the BB (similar size diameter to a Provari) and a Silver Bullet.

Ok I think I'm stuck between 2 tanks.

The first is a pyrex glass tank from theecig.com:
6ml Glass Tank With Chrome Metal END CAPS!
This pyrex tank looks a bit wide & it does not give size specs. I was wondering if it would be wider than my Type C Cone and make it look weird. These tanks are bit expensive for me but they look high quality.

& the other is from IBTanked... clear xl 19mm glass tube with stainless steel caps:
https://www.ibtanked.com/shop-tanks-carto/clear-tubes/19mm-clear-detail
https://www.ibtanked.com/caps/ss-caps/sscaps-detail

Any thoughts?

So I was looking at an IBTanked 19mm pyrex XL tank.

In the FAQ it says that a 19mm XL tank holds only 2ml? What? Is that right? lol

Q: How much do the tanks hold?

A: 19mm Standard= 1.5ml

19mm XL = 2ml

25mm Standard = 5ml

25mm XL = 8ml

That seems like a very low amount of juice by seeing how large the tank appears.
I'm pretty certain the quoted capacity does not include a filled cartomizer, which an XL carto can hold 1.5ml. So in total the XL 19mm tanks holds a total of 3.5ml. They appear to be nearly the same size as a Smoktech 6ml DCT tank which I also own. (The 6ml DCT tanks are approximately 1mm wider in diameter than the IBTanked. The thicker glass tubes take up more space than the plastic tubes, accounting for the smaller liquid capicity.)

19mm XL IBTanks and Smoktech DCT polypropylene tanks, 6.0ml and 3.5ml

Ok I believe I've settled for what tank I want. :D

A clear Phiniac Naked Tank XL V2. This tank holds a nice 4ml of juice rather than the measly 2ml the 19mm clear IBTanked XL tank holds.
The width of the Phiniac fits almost perfectly with my Type C eGo Cone from smoktek as well, to give it that nice, sleek, 1-piece look.
The only thing is, is that the Phiniac tank comes with delrin caps. I prefer to chrome/silver out my PV as much as possible. You can buy Stainless Steel caps for this tank, but they are freakin' $28!

After going through a bit of research, the pyrex glass tank has superb quality & seems to definitely be durable (for those of us who tend to drop, or violently throw our tanks/PV's).
Check out Phiniac's drop test video library that shows just how strong their tanks are.
Can't wait to order & receive this item!

As for the amount of fluid tanks hold, I always take the carto's XL 1.5ml liquid capacity as a given, being that in every one of my tanks I'm using, I have an XL carto in it.

And the dimensions for my Smoktech DCT tank is 15.2mm x 42.9mm (which, for me, is a bit small in diameter) VS the Phiniac's nice 22.2mm x 44mm, which will be good for me seeing as it holds the 4ml (clear tank) of juice.

The Phiniac is a great tank, probably the most durable that you can buy. The Phiniac outer diameter is 22.5mm vs 19mm for the IBTanked, so a little wider.

Phiniac is $38 with delrin caps, $66 with stainless. IBTanked is $17.50 for acrylic caps, $22.50 with stainless. One could nearly get 3 IBTanks for the price of one Phiniac.

I'm not claiming the IBTanks are as durable as the Phiniacs. I can say that my Provari and IBTanked have rolled off of a locker room bench onto a hard tile floor a few times and not suffered any damage what-so-ever.

Both are great tanks. You couldn't go wrong with either one. I have a Phiniac glass tube that I had a custom sand-blasted design put on a Hoosier Vapes Elegance tank seen below:

You're absolutely right man. I'm sure I couldn't go wrong with either one.

Obviously after the fact of being glass, what it comes down to for me is the size in diameter (how it will look with my Type C cone) & how much liquid it can hold.
The Phiniac tank will be just a tiny bit larger than my cone & the IBTanked tank will be just a tiny big smaller than my cone. Thinking about this, I think the "smaller than my cone" tank would look better, but then again, Phiniac's tank can hold 2 more ml of juice. Not even mentioning that the IBTanked tanks are much more inexpensive.

Ughh I'm so indecisive... can't you tell? :p

I tried finding a pic on Google Images of a Phiniac on an eGo battery, and only came up with the one below on a Kgo. Apparently this is not a common combo. This looks pretty top heavy.

Phiniac on Kgo.jpg..OCD tank on Twist.jpg

The second pic is an IBTanked on an eGo Twist.

One of the things I don't like about the eGo size batteries is the limitation of the size tanks that look nice on them. IBTanked makes the slimmest pyrex cartotank on the market currently.

Thanks Baditude. I would like to see it on the 20.5mm cone I have, but I know that won't be probable.

haha I think I'm actually going to get the IBTanked tank instead. The 19mm on the 20.5mm cone will look a lot better than a 22.2mm Phiniac tank that goes over the 20.5mm cone.

And not to mention that I'll be able to get the stainless steel caps without having to sell a kidney! :D
