Tapatalk new thread notification

So I'm subscribed to the coop forum. When a new thread gets created I'm not getting a notification on Tapatalk.

Used to work before maybe before the software change.

Can someone help and maybe other members chime in?

You will only get one notification when a thread is created. When you go look at the forum, the counter resets and you'll then receive a notification on the next new thread. You will not receive a notification on every single new thread created.

I hope that's the problem although I don't think I'm receiving that first notification. I will have to wait till a new thread gets created to know then. Thanks.

that thread was opened in the planning/discussion forum though - did you also subscribe to that?

I was wondering if you set your preferred push notifications in the Tapatalk app?

To access this page go into Tapatalk settings and select push notifications for ECF...click the box beside your selected preference and don't forget to toggle the switch at top to ON..Been using Tapatalk for all my subscribed forums, never miss a followed topic or subscribed thread notification... Hope this helps!

Yes, that's the reason I subscribe to that topic in the first place, lol...Tapatalk is a great app once it's customised to your particular preferences.

Oh I'm sure you will, it just takes a little bit of programming the app the way you want it..

not me i hate those small screens and tapatalk. i'll use it if my internet is down but that's about it!
fingers crossed for the op though - i know he hates missing any new developments in the co-op forum!

I guess your using a PC..on my phone and tablet Tapatalk screens are not small at all...they fill the whole display..I gave away my laptop a long time ago in favor of a good smartphone/tablet so I don't know what Tapatalk would look like on it...anyway, I hope it works out for the OP too!

Smacksy, these are my settings

I do not set it to all topics since that will notify me of any activity in the threads. I set it to subforums so that I receive notification when a new thread is created. I'm interested in quotes etc... since I visit the topics everyday anyway. Just the new thread creation is what should be notified.

It used to work before.
