I own 2 Target Minis. I use a 1 ohm coil in a Joyetech Tron S. I usually run it at 16-17 watts. I've never used a higher ohm coil in it but I get good clouds and flavor with that setup.

Without taking them apart its hard to say how they are built. Since your using a VW device I would assume th 1.8 has more wire so it would be better but require more watts. When those tanks came out most were using fixed voltage devices (3.7v) and mech mods so lower ohms produced more vapor.
Preciate the reply.. any advice on the juice ratio? My juice is straight menthol..I've got 70pg/30vg 16 mg nicotine.. used to smoke 2 packs of Newport a day... so I'm still playing around with my setup...
You can go to 50/50 for more vapor, wouldn't go any lower then that on them coils though.
I don't own a Geni Tank but it looks similar to a Protank. The coil head probably has small holes for the wicking. It probably uses silica wick wich doesn't wick very well. It's really old tech.
I usually use 60/40 or 70/30 VG/PG. You might be able to go with 60/40 VG/PG but you'd have to keep your watts set pretty low.
16 mg sounds pretty good. I started on 18 mg with my CE4s and Protanks but I went up to 24 mg for a month or two because I was having strong cravings.

It's the same as the protank 3 (BDC). You can get BVC for them too, that may work with 60VG.
