So, add me to the list of PM80 owners who are having problems with the unit shutting off randomly. The only way to get it to turn back on is to plug it back into the charger for a moment until the unit powers on. This has pretty much rendered mine useless, as it will usually turn off after a minute or two of use.

Aside from taking up my case with vaporesso, has anyone learned of a tried and true way to eradicate this problem? I'm pretty militant about keeping my pod and unit dry so there must be some less obvious options to consider, right?

Any help would be appreciated.

I know this is a bit late but for anyone else searching it's not an easy fix and it would definitely void any warranty so if it's within the 90 days absolutely try to return the product. The battery is severing from the connection and according to most people's complaints it's happening very easily without even dropping the product. They didn't wire it very well and those more experienced Vapors that I guess didn't want to warranty the product or we're past the 90 days and had a little bit of electrical knowledge realized that it was a severed battery because these mods come back on when you plug them into an external charger port or USB but then they fail the minute you unplug them that's because there's no internal battery to keep it running. So while there is a fix it's pretty much rebuilding the mod and isn't advisable
