Welp...Here I do again. I got a lil problem. (Little for me , annoying for hubby!)

K...Here goes...I DIY our stuff. I re-use the lil Cart's that came with our KR808D-1's for tase testing before I put it into the T3's. The 808's have been soaked in Vodka, Boiled for 5 min, Rinsed, Boiled for 5 more min, Rinsed and set out to dry. They are CLEAN, NO smell, all nice and white inside. I take a DRY 808, put a few drops (8-10) in it, let it sit for a about a min, hook it up to a 808 battery and let him puff away. If he doesn't like the taste I add this or that till it is fixed. I use a CLEAN 808 cart for each taste test. If he likes it, I put it in the T3. NOW....Here is the problem: Something is happening with the 808 that is NOT happening with the T3. He says that he gets better taste, TH and Vapor from the LITTLE 808's than from the SAME mix in the T3. I don't get it. What is going on:confused:?? Any Ideas anyone????

*1st leaking T3's...fixed that. Then battery dieing too fast, stop turning them off and on so much, so that's better so far. And now THIS!!! Am tempted to just stuff hubby in a closet and leave him in there for a few months.*

OH!! Lil more info. I am using a 50/50 mix with 50/50 Niquid and PG base Flavor. Do ya think if I added more VG, less PG, to the mix for more vapor...it might help? IF it is heat, TH, that he is missing....That would mean more PG, less VG...Correct? If the heat is the issue and the PG does not fix it....Is there something out there to add to it that will help more with TH??

Personally, I love T3s, but I think they can be flavor-muting. I've switched to mini T3s with 1.8 ohm heads, and it seems to have solved that problem perfectly. Even better is when I use them on a variable voltage battery (Spinners are my personal choice). The mini T3's shorter tube seems to give a little more warmth, and the lower resistance gives a little more "oomph" to the vape.

I can tell you that I have juices that taste completely different depending on how I vape it. I use a lot of genisis atties but I have a few juices that I can not vape in a genesis because they just do not taste the same. Same with the T3 juices just taste completely different depending on what they are vaped in. When you say 808 are you talking about an atomizer or carto because if it is an atomizer I can tell you that juices are mre pronounced and much better in an atty. That is why I and a lot of others still like to drip even though it would be a lot easier to just fill a tank. Atomizers just produce better flavor.

Juices really do tend to taste different in different cartos/clearos. To improve the taste in the T3 you may want to try rewicking the coil as shown in this tutorial. It really is very simple. It took me longer to get the threads from the cheesecloth than to rewick it. It improved the flavor and no more dry hits. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/385799-how-i-re-wick-my-t3s-cheesecloth-pictues.html

A rebuildable atomizer could work well for him...where he uses it to taste test and for vaping.

Since I'm not a throat hit fan I'm pretty aware of when it's there or not. The rebuiladable atomizers that I've tried do give a stronger throat hit than any cartos or clearos that I've tried. Upping the voltage can help too. Of course that can change the taste of the juice for better or worse. :)

A really cheap alternative would be the CE3 clearo. It can be used as both an atomizer (by removing the center tube and cutting down the plastic tube) and as a clearo to vape with. But is does require a syringe to fill.

Here's a link about throat hit that may be useful to you. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/236908-throat-hit-enhancer-other-than-flash.html

Hope you quickly find what works best for you and that hubby doesn't end up in the closet.

Yup the Cartomizers that came with the KR808D-1 are what I clean and reuse for taste-testing. You comment Of 'Juices are mpre pronounced and better in an Atty'.....that seems to be what he is TRYING to tell me. I think he is simply missing the heat. Well, bugger me. Looks like I now NEED some Top atties or smaller tanks, some METAL or GLASS tanks, and now Drip Tips and Caps. OUCHIES to the wallet!! I am sure that we will find something that will make him happy. Just gonna take TIME and LOTS of retial and error. AND MONEY!!! LOL

Hmmmm....CE3...will check into that as well. I have begun to copy and paste all of the advice I get to my desk-top so I don't have to keep searching through post after post to find what I lost!!! LOL I can be so silly at times. I do creat shortcuts to the threads I use the most. Well, Usually I do. I missed one or deleted another...had to hint them down again. LOL it happens
Thanks
