Is it me that the juices taste better in the Aspire BDC's at about 3.8 on a spinner battery? I have the Veritas and it's loaded with Japanese cotton with 28G kanthol. Vapes great but for sweeter juices, I find that it's more muted on it. Tell me it's the wick. I am using a 50\50 blend. I don't know what wicking material the Aspire BDC's use in their coils but I wish I could replicate the same clean and sweeter taste. Anybody have noticed the same? China attys all wick with silica - what quality of silica is anyone's guess. Buying silica from a known China vendor might get you close.
Every wicking material has properties that can brighten or subdue aspects of a juice/blend. I find (for example) that silica will dull the chocolate in a chocolate mint while cotton or rayon will heighten it... but dull the sweetness. All very subjective of course... so what I find meets my needs may not work for you.

If you want to "duplicate" a stock China atty flavor quality in a RDA... silica would be the place to start - and a similar net resistance.

If you're building single coil on the Veritas... they perform much better with dual verticals at .4Ω-.8Ω resistances. See my post on the easy way to build single wire, dual coils, for the Veritas and similar RBAs.

I see. Yeah, I really don't like this nutty muted taste in this fruity blend. I'll try silica. Good Idea.

You don't provide resistance values, and I can't tell what the hell battery mod (a mech?) you have attached to the Veritas... so that's about all I can offer. Adjusting current and resistance up or down might provide some insights as well.

Have fun sorting it out. ;-)

I have a Provari Mini with 28G Kanthal @ 1.5 with an AW IMR 18350 battery. Mini don't allow me to run below 1.o ohm which I think maybe is ok because those BDC's fire high too. If I could get the same exact taste, I would be freakin super happy

Kind of off topic but trying putting the new BVC coils in your Nautilus. You can thank me later ;)

Matters on your build. I find that a single horizontal coil at 1.3 ohms makes a ton of flavor on my Veritas while a single macro coil on 24g @ .5 ohms pumping 35 watts is best for me. Pretty much haven't found any atty that can produce flavor like a Veritas, when setup right.

I've tried 1.5-1.9 ohms @ 2.9 volts to 6 volts with Japanese cotton, organic cotton vertical build and still these juices are not the same as vaping it in a BDC. Generally speaking, no matter what I try, this nutty flavor still is present making any juice muted and nutty. What wick are you using?
