Tastes Okay...But Not During Long Drags

Hey all, I'm pretty new here on the forum (and to the vaping world) and have been puffing away on my iTazte VV 3.0 since I received it last Saturday. I have to say I love the device, great vapor production and flavor overall.

Anyways, I had ordered some flavors from MtBakerVapor to begin. The one that I've been having problems with though is the "Coffee" flavor. When I go to take a very small drag (2-3 seconds), the flavor seems fine but obviously there's hardly any vapor. When I try a normal size hit (5-7 seconds is my usual) it tastes terribly burnt and harsh. Its been steeping for about a week now (cap off, dark place), reloaded my iClear 16 clearomizer and alas the same result. I had requested 2 extra flavor shots, and am hoping that this is part of the reason as to why it tastes so terrible right now (more shots = longer steeping time for better result???).

Any tips/advice appreciated!

Thanks!

My experience with coffee flavored liquid has all been bad. It all tastes like burned coffee. I agree that starting low on the voltage/wattage might help.

I had a mocha flavor that I made myself and it was good at first but now it has aged several months and it tastes like cheap Christmas chocolate--no coffee flavor at all.
