Tasty Vapor KRETEK!

I was turned on to clove cigarettes back in the late 90s, and I've loved them ever since. When I switched to vaping, I looked several places for juice that mimicked the taste of them, but nothing came close to replication. Some tasted like the cloves on my spice rack, which was okay, but they never had that balance of tobacco, clove spice and lip-numbing sweetness that the real thing offered.

Last week Geoff at Tasty Vapor announced some new flavors, including Kretek, which he made the discount juice of the week. I ordered a bottle of 35% VG, 24mg immediately and waited with giddy anticipation for the shipping notice.

I just came home from classes and found a package in my mailbox. I decided earlier today that I was going to try direct dripping on both my TW Tornado and my m401, and I'm vaping the m401 right now.

This stuff is SPOT ON. Spicy, smoky and sweet, all at the same time. I think I just found my all-day vape. If it's as good on the Tornado as it is on the weaker m401 (and I think it will be), I've ended my search.

Im so glad you said that,Ive been on the fence about ordering.I got a coffee mix and I didnt care for it at all,so I was kinda afraid to order again.Im going to order the Kretek and give it a try!

In the Tornado, it's a bit sweeter than the real thing, but still really, really good. This is definitely my new all-day, and I can't wait to see how it matures over the next few weeks. Tasty Vapor juices seem to "age" a bit, so I'm expecting it to be even better in a week or two (if there's any left by then).

yup, the kretek is damn awesome. even my wife likes it. it tastes like a clove cigarette.

Here's my first impression of the Kretek:

When I opened the bottle I was hit with the smell of cinnamon. At first I thought I may have received AC by mistake. I loaded up a fresh atty with 4 drops and took a few 5 volt drags. The flavor was remarkably strong. My throat and lungs were filled with warmth like the aftertaste from really spicy foods. The initial mouth taste was unmistakably clove, but on the exhale I tasted that same strong cinnamon that I smelled before. There was a tobacco undertone, but it was very subtle, almost buried under the dominant spice. I'll revisit this juice in a few days after it has some time to blend and mature.

Flavor: Strong and spicy
Throat Hit: Through the roof
Vapor Production: Thick and dense with the added 20% VG

Yes, Geoff is awesome... and his Kretek is tops! And it's nice when you can settle in on one supplier of a beloved flave...

So, have you tried the Atomic Cinnacide yet?

And btw... if you have any around, try adding a drop or three of some TV Spicy Rum to your Kretek... mmmmm...

Gotta bump this back up because its just so good that people need to know about it. It mixes great with almost any other tobacco flavor too. I just love this stuff. Actually, I have to say that having received this flavor and atomic on the same day, I've been vaping this a lot more than the atomic.

I am ordering some now, alongside Atomic Cinnacide. I already have his Cafe Macchiato and Dulce de Leche (which by itself was ok - not phenomenal. some more sweetener in there might do the trick). I'm looking forward to it - Geoff's mixes are the best I've ever tried!

HOLY CRAP!!!!

Just got my order today. I ordered it on friday afternoon and it came on monday morning. not bad for a hand-mixed juice.

This stuff is AMAZING!!! this is THE most authentic vape flavor I have tried so far. Tastes exactly like a clove cigarette. Could use a little more tobacco flavor for me and I will probably mess around with that, but the rest of the flavor is DEAD ON. Numbs your mouth the same way clove ciggys do and also has a sweetness on your lips.


Don't mess with other clove flavors because they just taste like clove spice. This juice tastes like a clove cigarette, there is a MAJOR difference.

I'll let it sit for a week and then do a video review but initial response is
