Tat's Got The Flavor Blue's........What To Do???

Hello Hidey Holers!!!! Well the unthinkable has happened to you're residential FLAVOR JUNKY I have lost the ability to taste ANYTHING I've tried almost every flavor in my arsenal, and nothing works Sure I've had the cant taste blues before, but never this bad No menthol joose, no sweet vapes, and the HORROR of them all no ICE CREAM Do you know what it's like to not taste ICE CREAM I've tried all my devices, all styles of atty's and still nothing Drinking plenty of water, brushed tounge, used Biotene, and still NOTHING If anybody has the solution to this, PLEASE HELP. I'm losing my mind here.......AAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

whenever this happens to me, i get the strongesst cinnamon juice i have, and vape that for a day or 2

OH that is so sad Tat . It does happen sometimes. I have not had that happen for months now. I really have never found much to help it except switch off on the flavors for a while and wait it out .

Omg I just went through a couple of days of that a few weeks ago, it's awful and I'm sorry. Here is all I can recommend, if you have the luxury:

1. call in sick

2. load up your pv with PIC and put it by the bed

3. turn off alarm and phone

4. go to bed

5. stay there until you wake up

6. vape

7. if you can taste it, get up and resume normal actvities, if not repeat steps 4 through six until problem goes away.

Wish I had some advice for you but I'm still new to vaping myself. I hope your taste buds start behaving soon. Meanwhile, I'll be searching for a new job..

you just gotta let them heal, hwo long have you been vaping? and what voltage or watts do you use? this happened to me, and i almost went back to smoking
you gotta pull through, mine lasted almsot 2 weeks at the worst.. be real careful when you eat things like hot sauce or pizza, they can burn the taste buds worse... get some unflavored and use that for about a week. it happened to me when i used BB heavily, so i dont know if maybe VG gets hotter or something,,, another thing i did was went to cartos when i drip sometimes i get some bubblign up which irritated my tongue, and also drink lots of water, cold water soothed my tongue some... just some ideas, you can do one or all, but this is what helped me, dont give up hope though! they come back!

Always happens to me right before I get a cold. Only thing that helps me a little is to vape totally different flavors and use a new LR atty, dripping only. I cannot use cartos at these times because for me the flavor is lighter and different than my good old 510 attys. Good luck to ya, let us know how it goes.

Aww Man, thanks again for the responses!!! Here's the deal, I've been vapin' since July 2010, and it has happened before, but never like this!! I could usually taste menthol at least during these times, but now even menthol tastes strange!!! I hope it's not the beginning of a cold!!! And I could not go a day without XTRA hot chilli, and even that has no flavor or heat right now!!!!

tat thats what happened to me, i couldnt taste anything, my taste buds were just dead, im a fan of hot stuff too, my gf hates it, lol i make sure i got 3 or 4 bottles of hot sauce at all times, just takes time to heal, i had it happen before then the big one hit, nothing tasted right food, vape, only thing that seemed ok was water cuz it has no taste, switch to cartos, go lowest voltage you can, and drink lots of cold water, and try not to chain ape vape as little as tolerable

No Chain Vaping Well I can slightly taste PUD in a Vmod with a 2.0 hybrid, so it's a start

That sucks Tat! I still haven't hit the "Flavor Blues" after about 8 months. I worry that it's gonna happen though LOL. I usually vape around 5.7v @ 2.5ohms. Nice and hot.

If you vape the red hot type flavors that are spicy, you should taste them. The sweet, sour, and mild (tobacco flavors) will definitely not work out for you. I hope you have a spicy flavor. I would never buy one, but now I might if I ever am in you situation.

Maybe try vaping a flavorless mixture for a few days? It helps me sometimes.

I just had to suffer thru it, but low voltage did help alot
