While the tax angle mentioned in this post gets a "duh", the true value and message of this article by Gary Wood is the fact based reality of what vaping means in health improvement, lives saved, lower health care costs - and how that flies in the face of the absurdity and hypocrisy of our double-speaking elected officials. It's a great read, but it's not really about taxes.

At the same time the FDA deems things not even remotely associated with tobacco as a tobacco product Sen. Richard Durbin (D-IL) introduced Senate Bill 450. This bill delegates definitions to bureaucracy while taxing any products the FDA deems to be a tobacco product the same as cigarettes.
There are rumors of Durbin running for governor of Illinois.

I could understand that a lot of ecf probably people think there are bigger anti-vaping bullies, but you gotta a least admit, he's one of the very worst.
