I'm not actually sure what a TCS setting is. Do you mean TCR, by any chance? That would stand for Temperature Coefficient of Resistance, and it describes the variance of resistance in various types of metal wires with temperature. All metals vary-- actually, increase-- their resistance to current the hotter they get. The reason some wires are used for Temp Control and other not is TC wire needs to vary its resistance with temp very evenly across the temperature scale, not big jumps and then hold it for a while. The cognoscenti call that a "flat TCR curve." The explanation I just gave you is probably only of interest to the "geeky" types, but actually setting it up is not all that hard to do, usually, and it pretty important in some cases. I personally like to use Stainless Steel wire; it's the best wire I have yet found in wither wattage or TC modes. However, there are a number of different grades of Stainless available for vape wire-- 304, 316, 316L, 317, 430-- and each one has a different TCR. Setting the machine in "TC-SS" might not work too well, because it might be programmed for a different grade. For best accuracy, then, you can enter the actual TCR of the wire you are using, and the
mod will use that curve to control the wire temp. I can not tell you exactly how to do this on your Cuboid and I don't have that mod and don't know. You may not need to, and definitely not in wattage mode. Here's a list of the various codes and recommended coil Ω for different types of wires:
