The rule of thumb for EVERY vape device you'll ever own is the same when running in power mode. Start low power (wattage or voltage), take a draw and bump it up a little and repeat. If it starts to taste funny, gets too hot or tastes burnt, back it down. Different flavors will have different sweet spots so you just have to experiment.

So u suggest using a rda in power mode? Or does the wire type I use to build my coil determine what mode I use?
The wire type does determine the mode you can run in.
  • Kanthal, Nichrome, Stainless Steel = Power mode
  • Ni200, Titanium, Stainless Steel = Temp Control mode

I in fact have a cuboid with a twisted messes rda. I love that combo. In the rda is dual 24/30 Clapton coils wrapped 5 times, inner diameter is 2.5mm. And I have the coils spaced. I run it in power mode at 90 watts. Mega flavour and cloud production. In fact I had to dumb down my juice with non flavoured VG because it was too much flavour. So much that I was getting a film inside my mouth afterwards. It starts to spit after 100 watts and at 80, it's good but it is not the sweet spot for the juice.

Yes everything depends on coils, juice, build, deck, mod, settings. This is what works for me.

Hey everyone, I just want to see if anyone have a "twisted messes" rda coupled with a cuboid 150w box mod? If so what kind of setting are u running it on? I have never used a rda but I am watching lots of videos on different coils but I'm more interested on the cuboid setup
Start around 20-25 watts. Take a hit for taste and heat.

Too hot or tastes burned back it down. If neither applies bump the wattage up 5 watts and taste again.

Keep going up till you find your sweet spot for that juice.

When you rewick the RDA back down the wattage about 20 watts and work your way to the sweet spot again.
