The pyrimids are what the PTB mod calls for, but you can use just about anything absorbent. I have tried regular tea bag, coffee filters, even paper towel. They all seem to work slightly differently. I found that the coffee filter and papertowel both wick excellently, but when it's all done they hoard about 5-6 drops of juice that they just won't let go of.
I found the PTB, to be a little leaky myself. But it's all just trial and error to find what works best for you.

Well, I can't swear upon it. Silk just popped into my mind.
I use the face buff pad so it's been awhile since I played around with PTB.

I've used BP too...works very well and is a very easy mod. Seems to really make the vapor bloom as it wraps around the bridge.

I also did not have good luck with the PTB...it leaked for me too, but I am sure I didn't do it right. And yes, regular tea bags work but hold onto juice...so actually don't work so well, but they do vape. I would get a paper taste too.

Blue foam is my next cart mod, but I haven't gotten to a pet store yet. ZFM works really well, but unless you buy Scottyballs ZFM plugs, it is a PITA to get that plug just right...but when you do it lasts forever. One or two carts is all you ever need.

When the day is done, and you have tried all the latest filler crazes, the original cartridge stuffing is still among the best options. Keep using the original filler until you decide to switch to dripping.

Agreed...I still use original filling with the straw mod and it works wonderful....just my 2 cents.

So far I have to say the PTB works the best for me. Now, if the ladies at Cignot would give us their secret on how they roll them, I would be estatic! I have tried unsuccessfully to copy theirs but I just can't seem to get it right. Don't care for the blue foam but perhaps that is an operator error. Next, the Fluval until I figure out the Cignot Roll!

Each one has to be hand rolled by a Mandelbaum

Seriously though, I still just use the walmart polyfill, only I just cut a small 'cap' of poly (about a 1/2 inch long) and then fill the cart with juice and cap it with the poly. This leaves 80% of the cart reservoir open to hold juice, and it keeps the poly soaked until it's completely dry. Been using that for a few months and I never have leakage, flooding or dry hits (until the cart is empty).

I used that one for a long time. The straw makes filling really easy too.

BTW, Maureen, ever get into Center City? I think there are a couple other philly people here. Be fun to get a group together, unless you know of one already. :)

It's a shame...last year I worked in the city...but it wouldn't be difficult to get there...as long as there is parking...I guess if necessary I could take the train again...but not from work :) I'd definitely be up for meeting other vapers in the area...
