I just got today the AMR from Team Rampage. It's a top-fed genesis atomizer, designed to work with the Adam Mod. Disclaimers: 1) I purchased this device for my own use, and have other relations with T. Rampage than being a satisfied customer. 2) While I am an experienced genesis user, this is my first top-fed genesis. I can't compare it to other like the GTUS, etc.
As the Adam, the AMR uses SUS316 medical grade stainless steel, brass for the connections and the posts. It also uses ceramic for the insulator in the little hole where you insert the top of the wick in the tank. The tank itself (2ml capacity) is polycarbonate—for what it's worth, and in response to an email I sent them, Team Rampage replied that they were working "right now" on a stainless steel and/or pyrex glass option for the tank.
There is no 501 connection (the head of the atomizer is screwed directly on the Adam's tube). I believe there is an adapter available for use with the GG.
I set this up with 400 mesh and 2 kanthal: this thing vapes really well! Vapor is quite cold, but that's to be expected since the coil is at the bottom. On the plus side, wicking works extremely well (better than I've ever experience with standard genesis atomizers), without any tilting required. Vapor production and flavor are awesome, maybe because of the small air chamber (the tank occupying a good portion it).
The setup is a little tricky, as you have to roll your wick to the right diameter so as to fit it in the tank, not too loose, but not too snug either (that would prevent air to enter the tank, creating a vacuum). On the other hand, re-filling on the go is very easy, as you just need to unscrew the tank, fill it in (no syringe or needle-tip needed!), and screw it right back in.
One last cool feature: there is an adjustable ring for airflow control. While I don't really care for adjusting the airflow (fully open is perfect for me), the ring also enables you to completely cut the airflow and seal the tank, which makes the AMR completely pocket friendly—it can even be turned upside down without any issue.
Here is all I can think of right now. Bottom line, if you have an ADAM and can afford the AMR's steep price ($150), I highly recommend giving it a try (A.M.R :: A.M.R(Advanced Mesh Rebuildable) -)
