I originally posted a quick review of the APS here:

I have had the opportunity to use it a lot, so I'm giving a long term update.

THE GOOD
  • It works. I actually do like it.
  • It looks great.
  • The flavor is good as expected with an atomizer.
  • I don't get too many dry hits (but I do get them). When I do, I take a quick pull or two without hitting the power button, and the atty is wet again.
  • It is very easy to fill.
  • All of the o-rings have loosened up a bit so removal of the parts or adjusting the air control ring is really easy now.

THE BAD
  • There is the slightest leakage from the tank o-ring that isn't terrible, but it drives me nuts. It seems that there is always a slight film on the Adam.
  • When doing a lot of vaping, the temperature naturally rises, and for some reason it floods easily.
  • The air control ring is hard to figure out. I can have a dry hit or flooding issue that I can cure by adjusting the air flow, then the next day, that adjustment doesn't seem to work anymore, and I have to adjust again.
  • There is a fiddle factor. It isn't horrible, but it is there.
  • HH357 atomizers don't seem to work in it. I tried multiple times, and I could not get rid of the dry hits. The air holes in the threaded portion of the atty are much, much larger on the HH357 compared to the air holes on other atomizers. I have to assume this size difference is the issue.
  • Only works on the Adam.
  • Customer service is suspect at best. I sent multiple messages and questions through email, the contact form on their website, Facebook, and their blog. I received one reply only after I got a little snippy in the final email. I am not an unreasonable person, but after spending over $300, I thought a reply to a question was in order. The reply said something about moving to California recently and trying to settle in. Ok, I can buy that, but I was under the impression that Team Rampage was a 4 person team. Is only one person of the team capable of answering questions? Also, the reply stated they would get in touch with me within 2 days. That was about 2 weeks ago. I gave up.

THE VERDICT
  • I'm not sorry I bought it. Would I buy it if I knew then what I know now? I don't know honestly. Maybe I would, but not unless I already owned the Adam.
  • The poor customer service really bothers me, and that alone makes it hard to recommend the APS.
  • I can get a more satisfying vape by other means.
  • Customer service issues aside, I would only recommend it to people that like atomizers, are experienced vapers, and don't mind a little bit of fiddling.
