So, just got vapemail today from another ECF user... purchased a couple of Hobbit rda's from him. Got one set up on a Mini istick 20w with a single 1.0 ohm chimney coil, hitting hard at 20 watts, with a delrin Derringer type drip tip. Tiny... under 90mm tall kind of tiny. Yeah, baby!

if you want a tiny atty, try a Freakshow mini. That tiny :)
Yeah... I have a couple of short rda's, but they're all 22mm. I specifically wanted something for the Mini iStick 20w so I could regulate wattage and use it to test juices (I'll use a horizontal coil to that end). The Hobbit is 17mm and is one of few short RDA's that sits flush on the iStick. Short... flush... VW. Those were my criteria. I've actually had my Derringer on the iStick and it works fine. It's shorter (barely... the Hobbit appears taller since it's thinner), but it overhangs the iStick a whole lot. Same with the freakshow mini.

Damn impressive little bugger, the Hobbit. Easy to build, good air flow, great flavor, great build quality. I'm impressed. Tough to find anymore, though.

Yep. Pretty tight airflow, too. The draw on the Hobbit is pretty nice, actually. The separate air flow and juice chambers are neat, too. Makes a vertical build like this a cinch.

I drilled the air hole on my IGO L to about 2.8mm and build it about .6 ohms.

Awesome thick rich flavor.
It's a really nice atty for the price.

Yeah... I'm going to drill out the hole on the Hobbit's sleeve. The hole in the base of the rda is substantially larger... not sure why they made the sleeve hole so tiny.
Because most of these chinese factories dont even have any actual vapors around to test this stuff. Its funny -the country that produces the most gear doesnt actually use any of it. Just like any other boring production job, walk in, sheet says 1500 tubes for job xxxxxxx. They punch a barcode, machine dloads specs. Part matches spec, into a bin it goes and sent to assembly.

A lot of times they just make whats on the order sheet, it says put hole here so they do, if it doesnt say x mm noones going to stop and say hey this doesnt look right, most of the time they dont even know how the stuff they make actually works.

I worked in a state of the art milling shop once, you never once actually had to know what your doing or making. Scan code, load machine, daydream until quitting time, check tolerance once in a while lol

People dont realize the guy who cut the rings may never have even seen the rest of the atty and probably doesnt care anyways. We see the whole products and think this flaw that thread etc etc. Think about that, the person milling kayfun topcaps, may have never seen one screwed together

True, but testing something to make sure its working (which it does) and analyzing the build and design to make sure everything is all perfectly matched and sized are two different things..

It also doesnt help that 80% of people vaping arent lung hitting every atty they use, and they may never think " hey this hole it too small"
