I did a search but didn't find anything so sorry if this has been asked before but does anyone know if vaping stains your teeth like smoking does? Once I quit smoking for good I'd like to have my teeth whitened. Which while we are on the subject, has anyone tried those teeth whitening products like the crest white strips? Do they work? I'll probably look into more when the time comes I'm mostly interested in what this does, if anything, to your teeth.

I've been vaping for over 3 months and I use the whitening mouth wash, pre and post, and I whitening tooth paste for sensitive teeth. I have the crest white strips and they do work, but my teeth ache after. My teeth are staying white now. So I would use them before spending the big money

Yes it does! but, it does depend on the juices you are using. If you are vaping mainly clear or light coloured juices, I think you may be fine. When I went to some of the darker juices, in my testing of flavours phase (double chocolate etc.), the backs of my teeth started getting stained very quickly. I don't use whitening products myself so I will leave that to others to answer. A scheduled visit to my dentist for a cleaning session took care of my issue, and she was more than glad to do it considering I had quit smoking.

I use darker colored juices exclusively -- Johnson Creek Red Oak Domestic and Tenn Cured -- and have had no problems with stains. I've had 3 cleanings since I switched to vaping, and those visits have been progressively easier.
