Any dentists out there?

A friend of mine is looking into getting one of those one-visit teeth whitening treatments (called Zoom, I believe) where they stretch your face out like the Joker and shine an ultraviolet light in your mouth for a few hours.

She's a smoker and had asked if she could vape as her dentist warned her not to smoke for several days afterward. Apparently, the treatment makes your teeth porous for awhile and VERY subject to staining. Since he didn't know anything about e-cigs, he couldn't advise her.

Assuming she vaped something clear would this work for her, or is even straigh PG too gray to use? If so, what flavor would you recommend?

Thanks -

I'm a dentist and I do vape for the time being. In my limited personal use, I haven't noticed any staining from vaping. Vapor does seem to be be clear and even when blown through tissue, relatively non-staining.
But there haven't been any major studies on vaping so concrete data is not yet available as to how these units affect us. It may be better than cigarette smoke, but no one should get their hopes up that putting high-nicotine, hot vapor into their mouth repeatedly should be healthy to those tissues.
