Telescopic batteries

Hi everyone,

I am in no way an expert, dont pretend to be one, not trying to be one, not even pretending to try to be one...I'm just a vaper, and as such am looking for what is the best way to vape....

anyway, with that out of the way, one of the biggest problems i have with vaping is obviously the batteries...IMR this, and unprotected that with various different mAhs and what not...

I wanted to make my own box mod, using the insides of a itaste MVP, and so I took it apart, and found out 2 things 1) I am not making my own box mod, and 2) that the battery inside is actually 2 batteries.
Anyway, this got me thinking that it shouldnt (this is where the not being an expert part comes in) be so hard for someone out there to make a telescopic line of higher mAh batteries...something in the 2000mAh and above range...

I am not understanding what you mean by "telescopic battery" ?????
Did you mean a battery that actually telescopes,itself ???? There are a couple youtube videos out there showing the MVP batteries being mod'ed into a DNA20 MOD.Why are you now,"not making" your box MOD,just because you saw the insides of the MVP????

I mean a battery that you spin on itself and it get bigger and smaller (only in physical size of course)
The MVP batteries, if they could be bent, I think could fit in the case of an 18350...maybe...meaning we could have a 2600mAh battery that could fit in most mods because with a twist, it would grow or shrink...

I,don't know, maybe it's a stupid idea, but I think someone can do it.

I'm gonna search YouTube for the vids you mentioned. I stopped my project because I broke some pieces, and generally started doubting my skills to move everything into a new enclosure...not sure exactly what to put it into either...

look through the mod section, there are lots of people making their own mods, im sure you can get plenty of tips, hints and inspiration here.

i think i understand what your getting at more like an adjustable size battery. the only problem is the chemistry used inside, so whatever the smallest size of the case is , say 18350 - is all the power it could produce no matter how much the outside adjusts, because you cant magically get more chemicals just by twisting the case bigger.. and no one wants an 18650 with 700 mah like a 350.

That's for sure...have you seen the mvp battery? Do you think it could be bent/split to fit inside a tube the size of an 18350?
