I've only used SmokTech 5ml and 3.5ml carto tanks and had various results. I like the idea of tanks because they hold so much vapor and I like clear. I like to see what I am vaping. Can you guys give me some other options and where to look because id like to try something else other than SmokTech. I know I've seen all kinds of cool different tank systems and clear systems that hold a lot of liquid.

I am looking for something to put on my Bolt mod and Maxi Stack.

Hi there.
Actually, any other tanks are quite the same. You'll get a different result when you change the carto, not the tank. Smoktech tank can use a smoktek single coil xl carto (1.7 ohm / 2.8 ohm) a.k.a. "Ressurector". There are other tank based on Boge cartos, they are shorter than smoktek cartos, some are quite famous too, i.e: "The Liquinator", J-Tanks, Arry Carto tanks, etc.

Sent from my mind using my fingers.

Hey! I thought this may help you. GrimmGreen does some wonderful review videos and he has several tanks listed in this video with short reviews.

Tanks Everywhere!
TANKS EVERYWHERE! - YouTube

Also, he has a plethora of information and videos over at grimmgreen.com

Edit: Not that you can't find all the information you need here at ECF - Just thought it may help :)

There is vaporescence tanks, j-tanks from electronicstix.com, MAP tanks from cloudsofvapor.com, nhaler has some....just about the majority of the top vendors have tanks. I prefer tanks that take a boge cartomizer over the dcc's. If you tank is tall, and you want to use a boge, you can use a tubing cutter and cut the tube down to fit it. I've done that to a bunch of mine.

I really like tank systems. I had just received my baby notta today to replace my vape-o-matic tank. My Polycarbonate tube had shattered. Turns out that my honeysuckle is the one causing it to crack.

I had ordered a BDV "Lil' Mama" Stainless Steel Tube so that I can use some of my flavors that do not go well with Polycarbonate. But now I am think of getting BDV "Lil' Mama" Pyrex Glass Tube. :)

I love the tanks I got from momandpopvaporshop.com for the side-drilled fill hole/screw set up. I have never had good luck w/ regular poly-fill/fiber-filled cartos though, so I order them sans carto (under $10) then cut my xl ce2s & fit them to the tank, heaven!! have 3 with 2 more on the way :) soon all my favorite liquids will be ready to go for my heavy all day vaping needs.

Here's what I've learned about tanks after extensive research and using a few different kinds recently:
1. All tanks are pretty much the same. Some you can drip fill at an angle, some you can unscrew the top and fill (acorn), and some you fill with a syringe, but otherwise, if you treat your gear well than any tank is rather like any other; and,
2. If you see a lavatank try and buy it immediately, because it will be gone within 2 minutes. :D

You can get polypropylene tubing from McMaster.com. 5/8" id x 3/4"id. It's very inexpensive, reasonable and very fast shipping. This is the same material that syringes are made from and it will not crack from any juices. I have some caps from BDV, and this tubing is fabulous. It looks like frosted glass, really nice.

I see the Vision Stone tank at Stormys and it looks nice. Definitely worth a try for $14.

Parkers has their Acorn Tank ill be reviewing soon. Looks nice too.

ecigexpress.com has identical tank on sale for $8.99 right now :) they call it "cartzilla" but says vision stone in product description....savings for those on a budget (like me)

Hi, I have tried a couple tanks, Madvapes: Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer , I have tried also the Liquinator tank: 510 Dual Coil Vape-O-Matic Liquinator 5mL , Unfortunaly both leaking all over me and my PV and the only tank I have found to be really really great is the Torpedo Tank: Torpedo Tank Stainless Steel , This tank is pretty nice It is a bit pricey but it uses CE2 and not cartos, it is stainless steel not plastic, it has o rings for tight seal, the nly other thing I suggest when buying this is to purchase the spare o ring set and use those instead of the ones it comes with. CE2 last alot longer than cartos and you dont have to keep buying as often. I am using one on a Lavatube right now and it works great! Hope this helps....
