Freemax Mesh pro tank has one SS316L Single Mesh Coil:0.12ohm resistance Rated for 400-550°F

OFRF Nex mesh sub ohm tank also has a SS 316 L 0.15-ohm conical mesh coil rated best 350-550F (or 55-75 watts) blue O-rings.

Vaporesso Skrr tank has one 0.5ohm QF CCELL SS316L coil rated for 50-75W

Hi guys, I ordered a mod (aegis mini) and now I am having a hard time to choose between these three tanks.
I like the idea that I can use lower temperature with OFRF Nex, but I am not sure if it's a real difference or marketing. On the other hand, Freemax Mesh pro tank is more common and proven by many users.
Please, explain how to choose one.

I've tried TC; its ok. But its much simpler to just use wattage mode IMHO.

I'd choose the Aegis Solo over the Aegis Mini. The Mini has a smaller battery and has to be charged via USB. The Solo uses an 18650 removeable battery. If you battery runs out of a charge, you just use a spare battery (carried with you in a plastic battery case) and continue vaping.

No real recommendations for a tank for TC. I use a couple of the original Crown tanks from Uwell. They use stainless steel coils (four options in coil resistance) so you can use both wattage or TC. Its an older model tank, and you might need to look around for the coils now. I've never had a problem locating them though. It's still the best tank that I have ever used.

The temperature ratings are more marketing than anything else. The key point with functional Temperature Control is the devices ability to detect the rise in resistance and adjust accordingly. Some devices do this better than others, regardless of the tank used.

Aegis mini won't last the whole day with a sub ohm tank on it.You may consider buying one more Aegis one for vaping while the other is charging.Also if one device break you'll have your back up.

I too have heard good things about the mesh pro. Both are coil cartridge attys though so you’re going to have to think about where you are going to be able to get solid replacement cartridges.

I got my ar$e chewed off over using Ti in a non TC environment on Todd's FB group. Apparently Sweet Spot Vapor Ti, the kind we all hated as it was not Grade 1, was actually designed to be used in any device from mech to regulated. This wire supposedly fails (melts) before it hits the temperature where TiO2 starts to form.

Sounded like BS to me and never tried it, many on the group swear by it though. Why bother using Ti at all when there are so many other choices for TC wire.

Pure Ti has a stupidly high melting point. For it to melt at a lower temp means it’s some sort of alloy. Apparently including some sort of really low melting point metal. I for one would want to know what that alloy is made of, what it is called specifically, and what it’s properties are. Calling something like that “Ti” is disingenuous. Even “SS” is not specific enough really. What we call “SS” is 316L stainless. There is also 404 stainless. They’re different things.

TiO2 begins to develop at around 1200°F. Titanium melting point is 3000°F. Sounds like someone was feeding you a healthy dose of BS

Ti actually works very well in TC due to it’s high TCR value. It is of low mass in comparison to other metals so less wattage is needed for similar dimension coils. It may also be preferred due to allergies.

I am not going to vape every day all day long. I am going to vape from time to time and I am sure that an aegis mini will have enough energy to satisfy all my needs

Finaly I ordered a OFRF nexMESH Sub-Ohm Tank. I wanted to order A Mesh Pro tank but in this case, I would have needed to order a tank and coils separatly because SS316L coils don't come with this tank.
