I have been vaping on my new Silver Bullet with store bought non rechargeable batteries for a few days with no problems on a standard 510 atty, it was wonderful. So the 4 pack tenergy rcr123a LiIon 900mah batteries with the great little charger finally arrived from amazon 30 bucks like everyone else but with free shipping, and after fully charging them It was way more powerful than the Energizer 123's. I took them to my friends garage and he checked the voltage. Wow 4 volts each. I though that would be too powerful for a reg atty and it was. The reg atty tripped the protection. I guess they work, but still made me put a high volt atty in there. Luckily my friend Chris from Alvin e cigs.com gave me one to try out when I was buying high caliber juice, the best 555, and our4 I've had, otherwise I woulda been stuck like chuck....

After a while the voltage dropped just a bit and they worked with the reg atty, but the next pair of batteries tripped, so back to the HV atty's, oh well it was too strong anyway and I'm sure the high volt atty's will last longer and gives plenty of vape, so lesson learned. I just wanted to let others know of this, not a big deal, it's probably better (safer) on the batteries too. So don't count out those HV atty's. The ones made for 5 volt vaping work great @ 4.5 ohms....with the tenergy rcr123a's.

One additional thing I learned is the clearomizers are sweet on a regular ego battery, but taste burned with 6+ volts....you do have to be careful with them when screwing them on, my ham fisted buddy broke 2 in one day, So if you aren't a careful tinkerer then well, be warned....
