I have been looking for a new mod for the past week and I narrowed it down to the Tesla and the Itaste SVD. Any one have these mods?? Which one is better?? Pro/Cons of each?? What batteries or chargers do you recommend for both? What tanks do you recommend that fit both?? Please help..
I can't speak for the tesla but it's aluminum construction was a negative for me , The svd is stainless steel and it's a solid tough device , best bang for the buck IMO , it's my weapon of choice .

I recommend panasonic 18650 batteries along with a Nitecore intellicharger , you can get them from amazon , I don't use tanks or clearos anymore but the Aspire Nautilus is probably your best bet , I don't recommend anything with the name Kanger on it for beginners , they can be picky about the juices you put in them and QC is hit or miss on the replacement coils .

I think we had this conversation on another post I like both that's why I recommended the SVD also but what features are you looking for in your device and what would you like for your accessories. but to get you started in the mean time
the tesla is made of machinery grade aluminum so it just as durable as the svd
both of them have simple user interfaces the SVD is a little harder to understand but the Tesla has a not so good screen location( when you press the buttons you cover the screen). the svd is way taller(it makes my KTS look like a midget) but the tesla is kinda fat both feel good in the hand though. the SVD only comes in silver and the tesla has an availble black or silver model they both can take either 18650 batts or 18500 batts what type to get... im still out the door with that one ive heard good things about imr batteries but i run 5000mah Ultrafire BRC's. Tanks I can't help you if you find a good one let me know but if its a twin tank be careful only buy it from a registered dealer(2 bad experiences). hope this helps a little

I have no idea why anyone would hate an SVD so much. Average, You must have gotten a " completely average " one yourself, with all due respect. The SVD is a well built device, I have had mine for a while now and I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I am almost positive when saying you got the bad one in the bunch. This thing is sick as ...., And I mean it! I have not had one problem with it since I've bought it. Don't understand how anyone could, the interface is so easy to get used to, unless your a child which in that case you shouldn't be vaping at all, it is easy to understand.

Not only does it deliver the punch that I want, It's solid enough that i've dropped it a few times and it shakes it off like nothing happened.
You can also get wraps for it from Jwraps if you don't like the stainless option.

In all honesty, It's a perfect device, I couldn't recommend it any more to anyone even looking at one. You just can't go wrong!

I've taken one apart and seen how it's assembled. Have you?

Are you aware that the positive battery wire is 2 wires that are simply twisted together and held by nothing more than a 3mm wide piece of tape? I've got pictures of the inside if you want to see for yourself.

And as for me getting "the bad one of the bunch".........

There are a LOT of bad ones out there. LOADS of them.

I don't have a Tesla but I have a SVD and a Lavatube and both are equally good devices (so far) for me. I haven't had any problem with either of them and I've had them now for several months. Just don't buy from fasttech or ebay go with a good dealer so if you do have problems you can get it replaced.

As for tanks I like the iClear 30 tanks that came with my SVD kit. I also have a Kanger ProTank 3 a iClear 30B and the carto tank that came with my Lavatube. The problem with the tanks is the replacement atty heads are hit or miss with quality. Order a couple packs because chances are a couple in each pack won't fire at all.

I have 2 teslas. Both of them sitting in the cabinet because the buttons became problematic. I'm sure it's just some gunk built up, tried cleaning them but with no way to open em up they have been relegated to backup status. I have 3 SVD's. 2 work no problem, on the 3rd, one of the small silver buttons quit working, (it was dropped on the button) also the beauty ring stripped from same drop. So since they lock themselves when you change batteries that one is just about useless. I'm a bit rough on equipment though. YMMV.
