Tesla isnt working properly:(

I bought this black chrome Tesla at vapebash..was gonna buy one of these a few months ago, but i waited patiently until vapebash, so i could see it and hold it in my hand before i bought it. Been super hapy with it so far,Its been hitting like a freight truck until about 3 days ago. Now it doesn't hardly work with any carto or atomizer i screw into it,(I dont use rba's) it will only show .8-1 Ohm resistance on EVERYTHING and will not fire..When i put something completely brand new on it, it will show 2.5-3.5 ohms, it usually works for the frst two first, then it says "Short" and drains the Ohms down to 1 or less... I've primarily been using the variable wattage at 6.5-7.5 watts


i have other devices and they work perfectly.. I put the protank on the tesla, it wont fire, i change it over to my ego twist, just fine, I have a mechanical mod, they work like a charm on that thing. was really hoping this mod would be my GO-TO mod, but it seems my twists and "The Natural" work much better.

I forgot to update you guys on the status of this, but here goes!!! i was actually never able to fix it myself, everything i was putting on it was showing "short" but IVape took care of me. I ended up having to wait about a week after the post to finally get approved for an RMA (how they return things) and it was proven defective! I was pretty puzzled to begin with because ive never had a mod do anything like that. About two weeks after i got it, the said they would be sending me a replacement!! I still haven't gotten it back from them though. Hoping i get it by the end of this week because i really miss it!!! even though it was a paperweight for the last week or so i had it, for the month or so i had it and it was working properly though, the tesla was my favorite! The suspense is killing me!

I'm sorry you were having troubles but glad to see you are getting an replacement. Now I don't know anything about a Tesla (other than they are cool looking) but that almost sounds like the center post wasn't making good contact to your delivery device.

Yeah i initially thought that as well, but inspected it really closely with a magnifying glass and the center post worked perfectly. before i sent it in for the RMA i thought what the hell and tried it with an old ce5, and it worked, but only with that ONE carto. i believe it ended up being a short in the little circuit board!!! Received the replacement tesla in the mail today!! Hitting like no other mod ive ever tried!! super excited vaping has commenced!! i have my lightsaber back!!!

All in all, i would definitely recommend the Tesla to anybody that wants one!! just beware if you live in the Milwaukee area lol some people think its a pipe bomb! ( i got called into the deans office at my school because someone said i was carrying around a pipe bomb. i had lulz with the dean. )
