Tesla nano error no atomizer

I am sometimes getting an error on my Tesla nano saying there is no atomizer. There are no shorts or any problems with the atomizer itself because it fires just fine on my istick. I am thinking it's not making contact well with the pin even though it's screwed on as right as possible. The pin on the Tesla has a slot so I took a screw driver and tried to back out the pin slightly thinking it was possibly threaded but it didn't seem to help. I did the same on the atty.
Any ideas?

Counter clockwise, do it more till you have a connection..

check and see if a tank/atomizer is attached, if there is one attached, then check if the coil is installed, if it is, then make sure the atty is contacting the + post of the mod...

Already did all that. I'm sure it's not contacting the pin correctly. It works sometimes but not others but works fine no problems on my istick.
