I'm new at vaping. I have an eGo-T and a v2cigs kit. I thought dripping would be the best way to test the 13 sample juices I just received (12 bought, one free sample... thanks, FSUSA!), instead of using the tank. So I've pulled the pollyfill out of one of the v2 cartomizers and am simply dripping right onto the coil. It works rather well... but I should ask - is this a nutty thing to do?

I'm also wondering if after I use up the couple of drops for the test, is it okay to just rinse the inside of the empty carto with water to remove any residual juice... so as not to mix and corrupt the flavor?

Thanks...

I started vaping about 2 weeks ago and my first order was also with FSUSA. I got 25 different tobacco samplers, and I'm sorry to say I found them all to be nasty. Makes me wonder why they're so popular. Are their non-tobacco, sweet flavors very good or something?
I'm curious to know what juices you ordered Vego...

Thanks guys for the guidence and encouragement. Indeed, ever since last week when I first got onto ECF, I've seen what an awesome community this is! Very helpful and mature. It's also grand to see just how lively and alive this forum is. People really seem to be getting into vaping in a serious way, and that's a win for everybody... except maybe big tobacco. There sure is lots of postin' goin' on.

Now, it's the damndest thing... all of these samples are 100%pg, 12mg. Most of them look like water. Funny thing is, some of them have virtually no vapor, especially after inhaling into the lungs, while others have okay vapor. Is it the flavoring ingredients, apart from the nic and pg base which determin how much vapor you get... when used on the same device?

I have to say I'm highly unimpressed with these 100%pg/12mg samples in terms of vapor production. Most are completely lacking in vapor and wholey unsatisfying. Interestingly, the free sample they sent is 24mg nic, though it doesn't say the pg/vg ratio. I can say it is much darker and seems a little thicker... I'm guessing there's a little vg in the mix. Apple Irish Coffee... now this one produces much more vapor and is quite nice tasting.

I think blew a couple of bucks here... but I'm learning.

Welcome to the club- we all do that. Hold on to it. Tastes change and it might grow on you or you can even mix juices together. Or trade it or donate it in the PIF section.

PG juice isn't the same from every vendor. I've gotten PG juice that's like water from one vendor and the PG juice from nhaler is thick and you get plumes of vapor. In fact, I vaped it for months before I found out it was PG juice, I thought it was a mix. I guess all PG juice isn't created equal.

it's because everyone's tastes are different and it seems like you can't predict what you might like. things I thought I would love I hated. liquids I loved the first few months taste like poo to me now! almost everyone has to invest in and try different liquids til they find ones they like!

I totally agree with your statement. It's just that all the FSUSA juices tasted like perfume to me, and I've read many posts here regarding that same issue. Many suggest steeping the juices, but aren't samplers pre-steeped? I guess I'll just stash the juices away for a while, hopefully they improve when I revisit them in the future.

I have had liquids I thought were chemically, but my friend thought they were wonderful! I would put them away for a while, they may mellow or your tastes might change. and you could always put them in the classifieds or do a PIF or trade!
