Testing New Atomizer Help

New to vaping and just got a shipment of backup atomizers. I know I read somewhere that it's a good idea to test them in coase you need to send any defectives back. What's the best way to do this? I want to test the atty's and then store them. Tried searching the forums but this place is HUGE. Any advice?

Blow the primer off and see if the atomizer glows (a 510 should glow really fast). You could also put 2 drops of juice on the atty's bridge and check vapor production (use a not too strong flavor ).

If you are going to store them and you just want to make sure that they are not DoA then just check them with a multimeter.

I just got 2 backup atomizers in today & blew one out & tested it w/ e-liquid since if bad I would expect the sooner the supplier is told the better & I had not seen the voltmeter test.
This raises another question which is what to put on the atomizer to save for future use.

These are my first "backup" attys but i have read a couple posts about storing. The general idea is to not let the atty coil get dry so... I've blown out the primer and tested them. I'm sure there's some primer left on the coil. I simply put them in a ziplock and wrapped it up in itself a little.
