Testing ohms on Vamo?

Greetings,

I am still waiting on some vape mail for my VAMO to arrive. As I wait, I am planning to pick up some supplies to try and learn how to rebuild some wicks/coils. I know one item that is suggested in getting is a device that helps you see the ohms you are getting on your rebuildable head. I also believe the VAMO can determine the ohms of your head.

Anyway, I was wondering if I still need a device to test ohms or I can just use the vamo to test them?

just use the vamo i do it all the time. holding the right + button for 3 seconds will give you the reading. the vamo also has short circuit protection and wont let you fire a bad or super low resistance coil anyways.

+1 on using the Vamo. Even when I use my coils on my MVP I test them on my Vamo first and make sure as to what the ohm reading is. Works pretty good. IMHO

I use one of these, Cartomizer and Atomizer Ohm Meter. It works as a very handy stand to do rebuilding as well as being a double-check for the VAMOs oHm reading. These little gems are very popular and are routinely out of stock everywhere but you can sign up for email notification when Mad Vapes has them back in stock. The last batch of 60 sold out the first day.
