I am getting some liquid up the airway on my new tank. I just re-assembled it yesterday after changing carto for the first time. It was more difficult than I expected but I did it. Anyways, I am reading that if the grommet are not snug enough the juice will come up as you drag on it like a straw. The problem is I dont see where it isnt tight enough. Would this happen because the top one is loose or the bottom...or both? Any tips?

I love their tanks, as a matter of fact, I'm waiting for my order of two more of the 3ml polypro tanks. I also have one of their pyrex tanks and it has been my daily companion, that and the 3ml polypro. It took me a few refills to get the hang of these tanks, but now I just do it in 30 seconds.

The beauty of the polypros is that you don't need to disassemble the tank to refill them, just use a syringe and refill from the screw hole. When I change a carto, I assemble the unit empty and then fill from the hole on the side.

Sometimes, if I flood the carto somehow, which is not very often, I just unscrew the tank, clean the battery contact and blow out the extra juice.

You can tell if the grommet is in right if you see the o-ring sitting in the tank evenly. If there is any part of it that is higher I just gently push in until it's even.

Hope this helps, I love their products.

Thanks I love them too and plan to get more. They are my best setup yet and good prices also. I only opened it to change carto, but yeah probably misaligned the grommet a bit. I will look again and try even them out. Thanks!

Still having this issue. I have disassembled 4 times and have intermittent issues of juice getting in the airway. I have to blow and clean quite a bit now. It's like I am sucking on a straw. I have eyeballed the grommets and they seem fine but then this will happen. How is the juice getting in there to begin with? Is the top grommet the one that lets it in somehow or can it be both? The tank worked fine when I first got it - absolutely perfect. The moment I took it apart, I have this issue. It will happen for awhile then go away.
