My gosh salem!!! You're a Double Guru!! I'm soooo proud of you, that's a very honorable distinction!!! Wow, now there's something that doesn't happen every day!

And all this talk of food ... you guys have really made me hungry for some nice, deep fried catfish!

But I like them about a foot and a half long ... those giant things don't always taste real good.

Yeah, but unlike a lot of them you always have something interesting to say.

I've seem some on other Threads with two and three word posts - but a lot of them, who are relative newbies, I've suspected have just tried to get their post count up so that they look like old timers.

You've educated, entertained and loved us!

Well, I'm sitting around here with a headless chicken, a pooping pig, two dogs and a wet wife who is just a little, wee bit angry at me for leaving her floating out there at the lake while I was saving the life of that great big catfish and then rushing home to tell all of you about it.

I wonder why I never have any excitement in my life? I'm just a bored, old man. *sob* No wonder I have to go out and mow to have some excitement in my life.

I agree TT. Some of ecf gurus exist only because they are contest ho's. I have stopped some of the contests which are not guided by the owner of the thread. It gets sticky, catty, and sick! My opinion goes beyond what I can say in this thread. I like to enter contests that are real and run by the owners. When one lets contest ho's run it-it degrades the vendor in my eyes. I was going to buy another tube...Salem you know where I bought mine from. I don't care if it was on sale for 50 cents...they lost my business with their thread ethics.

If they use Random.org, that is fair. The ones that they just pick whoever are not worth the aggravation IMO. If I were a vendor, I would limit my contests to people that have not won an ECF contest in the last 30-60 days.

I see these folks on FB bragging about their wins and trying to make money off of the freebies. I have to take a step back. My ethics are totally different. I think I will go back to just stalking coupon codes. Actually I need nothing for the next year..but wait...just in case ya know I might need to stock up.

From what I've heard about those contest threads I ain't going there in the first place and if I could just invent something like Gummy Bear did where I could make a whole lot of money ... like thirty or fifty dollars I'd buy me something nice too. But I can't seem to invent anything. I did have an idea once ... but I forgot what it was.
