salem, I'm glad to see you are getting some rest. I'm sure that's good for you! And that's cool that you found MikeV again. Where do you come up with all these MIA's?
And all the rest of you walking wounded, I hope you are feeling better today!
We still have more big chances of rain today and tomorrow. If Sdh came down here to East Texas she probably wouldn't like it here. We don't have any cracks to stick your hands in. We do have quite a few people who are full of compost though.
And I was thinking of some of our friends on here tearing up floors and rooms themselves. I have a son who has done extremely well in an oil related business and he is re-doing his house - one room at a time - by himself with the help of some friends. I'm thinking about having one of those genetic tests done to see if he really is mine because that is something I never would have done in my wildest dreams. I don't know where he gets these ideas.
Your supposed to hire people to do things like that and sit back and watch.
Well, I might go out and ride around on my 4wheeler today and check things out if I can do it before it starts raining. I actually feel like I'm starting to get a little cabin fever from being stuck inside with all this wonderful rain and nicer temps.
Hey kgj, that remote is a wonderful thing to behold and expensive too. But the first thing I would have to do is get everything tied together the way I want and that's what I've never been able to do. If you'll stop by I'll let you do it.

TT, rest is all that I have been getting going into my third week lol Okay, except for feeding the dog and going swimming that one day.
I noticed that mikev had a birthday last week so I sent him a happy birthday wish. He never logged on to ECF until last night to get my message. I knew that he had been having some pretty serious health issues so it was good to know that he is okay.
I think that a lot of people settle in on a flavor, device, hardware that they like to use and just don't come back to ECF very often.
We have a 60% chance of rain through tomorrow. I think that I am going to stuff a bunch of cotton in my ear (no utc here) and go and feed/water Buddy. Or better yet, maybe I should go and get my mom and take her to feed/water Buddy
I hope that everyone has a good day and is ready for the cool down

Oh yeah melissa!!! That would be wonderful! I don't know if we can do all of my ideas ... like playing iTunes off of the computer and through the surround sound system (it's just a cheap one), but it would be fun to explore the idea.

Worth mentioning is that when I was a teenager I had a 51 Hudson like the one in the picture. It was already an antique then and all my friends though it was the coolest car around.

I don't know how it is in Wisconsin but, the yellow jackets like to nest in the cracks here. I would be very careful putting my hands there.
LOL, I still don't wear shoes very often Gummy Bear. I guess its an East Texas thing. I always wear them to church and when I'm on the 4wheeler though.
