    Yawn, scratch, scratch, smile ...

    Good morning gang.

60% chance of rain again today and 40% tomorrow and our drought is now declared as being over according to the local news on the Hog and Farm Report. My new pet, Miss Piggy, loves to listen to that Hog and Farm Report. It sounds like we may not start getting rain until about noon, so I'm going to get out there early and ride my 4wheeler around for a while.

Well, its Thursday and about time to crank up those little, yellow cars and go to work. Nearly time to get this work week finished up and get ready for a nice weekend! I'm sure hoping we can get out to the lake and do some fishing this weekend. Its going to be humid with all this rain we've had, but I'm sure in the mood for some fresh fish. If we can catch enough we'll have a nice fish fry and your all invited!

    Have a Happy Thursday!!

    TT

    Morning TT. Still dry here.

Yeah FranC, those drought conditions seem to have shifted to the north and are impacting all the northern and many of the central states.

Its really a shame as it hurts the farming sector real bad and of course, that results in increased food prices and affects homeowners like Sdh watching their work and investment in lawns and property wither away.

    Pretty bad.

I hate to even say it because I know how horrible those droughts are but, it poured rain all night last night and still cloudy here today. We are just coming out of years of drought and being in an emergency water situation so we really need it. If I could send some rain to those of you that need it, I certainly would :)

Well, if you can't send rain you can always send money.

Now if I had three dollars I'd go up to town and go to the Hardware Store and talk to the girls and look through their "For Sale" bin. They always have neat things in that bin. And the girls are a lot of fun. One is real fat and the other one is real skinny. Their a perfect pair and a lot of fun to pick on!

    You are so bad!

I have been sleeping almost around the clock. The doc told me to come back today if no improvement so I am headed back there again this afternoon. This is getting scary the way I am just not responding to these antibiotics :( I am going back to bed until my appt but will check in here when i get back :)

Ahh,, They should be able to culture a blood test to see just which antibiotic is the best for that bug. It takes a week or two to get the results back but the correct med will work much faster. Of course you already know this but,,, but, but.....

    Hey TTers smiley-happy059.gif

TT, that is great news that your drought is officially over! We finally had rain here yesterday. I hope for rain for Fran and Sdh, and any others here who are experiencing this drought.

Salem, sorry to hear you are still not up to snuff :(

Tonight and tomorrow night I've got to contribute to the Sociable Securities funds. I'll try to peek in and see you guys when I can.

Howdy TT'ers. :) I know, I haven't been posting here lately, I haven't been posting much anywhere lately. I didn't read back, just this page.

TT, glad your drought is over.

Salem, sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well, I hope that you are better soon.

Gummy, I hope that everything is going well with you.

Tink, don't hope for rain for Fran, we have had enough rain around here. The grass is growing so fast, that I can't keep up with it. A July mini drought would be nice right now.

They did blood work the first time I went and never said a word about the results. You have to remember that I am in Podunk USA and the medical care is very scary here.

Yea same here I had to remind my Dr. two weeks later when I went back complaining that I was no better. She was going to change my antibiotic and after reading the lab report (after I reminded her) she discovered that not only the meds I was on but the one she wanted to change it to would be no good for that type bug. She gave me the one that the report said that bug was susceptible to and I was just fine in a week. Stay on their back.

Hi Jerry! We are having a drought. The grass is beyond dormancy. It is dying. I think I will just buy fake grass or replace with wildflower gardens an pathways..at least the back yard. I am trying to save the trees. The weeds grow well.
