Sounds like you are having a great time, TT :) It may be a good idea to take a day of rest and not spend any money lol

I am with you on that! I love to go to the little out of the way shops but not if I can't spend any money. Although I do like to browse through antique shops without really needing to buy anything.

I hope that you have a good day and I will keep checking in for more pictures and updates ;)

I'm taking a much-needed break for a minute :) The only problem with retaining walls is the first level needs to be completely level... side to side and front to back. You start out making sure the little bubble is dead center of the two lines. After several hours of baking in the sun (like a lizard on a rock, LOL) you get to the point of "that's close enough" if the bubble is pretty close to being between the two lines  Building it on a slope makes it a bit more challenging!
TT, it sounds like your trip is full of beautiful sites and good food. And what more can you ask for?? I hope you and Mrs. TT continue to have a grand time!! I am looking forward to pictures!
Back to the hard labor....

Morning in TT's House. :) I miss the oldies TT, we had a couple of oldies stations around here, but now they play 70's and 80's music. It's ok, but not like the 50's and early 60's rock & roll.

You know where you can find the best "Oldies" music?

Right here on the Internet.

Just do a search for Oldies radio stations (or similar) and you'll find all kinds of them (and its free!!). If your on a desk top computer with a sound system your in business. If you have a laptop with tin can sound, go to WallysWorld and pick up a MusicBullet for 15 dollars and plug it in to your laptop. You can also use it on your iPod or cell phone. Works great! And you can plug it into the USB port on your laptop and recharge it.

So you'll have good music and good sounds!

TT

tg you on another break or have you quit for the day?

Done for the day, jj. An impressive, but brief, storm passed through complete with thunder, lightening, torrential rain and hail  I got the base layer on the retaining walls, so the rest should go much quicker and be fun instead of backbreaking!

Yeah for the most part everything is going ok. Life has thrown a few major curves into our lives. We will make it through even the latest.

My sister that is fighting cancer ended up in the hospital for major dehydration and they found pleurisy then a blood clot in her leg and pneumonia. She has since finished Chemo and radiation and we a waiting for the follow up scans, whenever they decide to do it.

I think of you and your sister often. My husband's cousin was diagnosed with a tumor at the base of his tongue around the same time your sister was. He also has been through chemo (I don't think he had radiation), had a trach, and feeding tube. They just rescanned him, and it was perfect, thank God! I pray for the same results for your sister.
