Wait a minute Hatfields and McCoys ?
You may not believe this but it dont matter it is very true.

This lady from Kentucky i was chatting with on another forum pertaining to figs asked about a certain type called
Ronde de Bordeaux which i have sold in past on ebay for good money .
So we got to chatting and i asked her for her addy as i said i would ship her some scionwood.
When i first started many years back someone was kind enough to help me so i return the favor with a fig type she will eventually be able to trade cause its sought after by the fig folks.
Her last name McCoy, i thought what are the odds?
So i sent another pm to her just asking and yup related .

Anybody here have experience with knee ligament injuries???

When our flight landed in Charlotte on Friday I started to stand up from the center seat of 3. I was turned sideways while standing up on my right leg. I heard/felt a big pop in my knee and a wave of pain. I fell back into the seat. The pain is the worst with any angular pressure to the knee, like turning, up steps or down or sitting down or getting up are very uncomfortable.

There is no bruising but there is puffiness above the knee to the outside and directly below the knee in the front. Saturday was bad walking at all now on Sunday it isn’t so bad as long as I don’t completely straighten the leg or twist with weight on my leg. If I straighten my leg I feel a pop on the right side of my knee as it gets to straight

I had a 3/4 ton chunk of steel decide to take a pokey nap on my knee once. (once was enough). I snatched my leg back so hard that it ripped the ligaments, but it didn't break anything. the funny thing was that the Dr. put a very stiff ridged ankle brace on me and it helped the knee so much I couldn't believe it.

Good morning everyone. We're getting ready to get back on the road with our travel trailer, so I just have a moment ... but sure do encourage you to read cathomp's story in the Paranormal Thread.

There's also a great, new story from Sundrinkr that you'll want to read too. Don't miss these!

And I've FINALLY heard from LD.

He has a 2 hour live broadcast that he will be doing every Sunday, from 6PM to 8PM. The first show is today. and he would love it if you could stop by, and hang out.

He says he is sure it will be pretty awkward at first, and the first few shows may not be real good... but he's hoping that they will progress into a good show that everyone will want to watch.

Tune him in if you can and see what's going on!

    TT.

I did not get there in time to see LD but, I did tune in just in time to see Jibba lol

DH is having a problem right now. He is using the knee brace and it helps a lot!!

Best of luck to you oly...that sounds like how I ended up with knee surgery a few years back. I'll keep your poor knee in my thoughts & hope for a quick fix with some ice & heat instead! :(

To the rest of you - xoxox & I hope your week gets off to a great start!
We had a nice weekend, and even went to the movies (MIB3) and the ballet & had family over for a pleasant visit. My only wish is that the weather would start staying a little warmer so I could hang out outside!

I do now, an "immobilizing" brace. Goes up to mid-thigh and dow to mid shin. The dr in urgent care was basilica able to say it insn't broke, go see ortho. (nice people, i'm not really complaining about my care)

Brace probably for a very short while - less is more; , ortho will hopefully have you some exercises/stretches to to do to avoid further problems (or surgery) and get it back where it needs to be, strengthen, realign and stay put.

Long history of knee ligament/cartilage issues here, me and my dad ... wishing you the best and a quick recovery, oly.
