Good morning gang!

Its 7 am and I'm headed out the door to mow for a couple hours before church and then will get back on it again after lunch.

I will get some pics today, but you're gonna cry when you see how much I have to mow. You'll probably want to come do some of it for me! And feel free to do it, I have something I can set your hiney on and let you mow!

TT

I got a mexican for that!

Are you feeling better?

I feel a little better :) About the same as yesterday. I can see that this is going to take some time to clear completely. My plan is to get plenty of rest and liquids and to not leave the house until I am sure that I am better. The script for antibiotics will go through Thursday and I am hoping by then I am going to feel much better.

I do kind of wish that the doc had given me an inhaler to open my airways a bit. I feel sure that I am on the raod to recovery though. Thanks for asking!

Oh, and I am not taking anymore allergy shots until I know for sure I am over this. I really think that I picked up a respiratory bug that was going around and the shots probably made things a little worse.

TT, will you get precipitation from Debbie? Might make it hard to mow.

So far their not showing any rain for us in the weather forecast. It is 99 degrees out there right now and supposed to get up to 102 tomorrow. I mowed a while this morning then again this afternoon until it just got too danged hot then I came in and took a nice Pokey nap.

Thinking about going back out around six and do a little more for a couple hours.

A lot of this stuff that I'm mowing won't have to be done again until around the end of summer. And the yard is going to be a weekly event. So it will slow down a little.

LOL, 102 degrees .... that's probably winter weather out there in Alamogordo, New Mexico!

It has been flat pouring here (Florida)...I have never seen my lake so high...keeping an eye on it - like there is anything I could do about it !

Seems like Florida has been getting an awful lot of rain lately, especially up in the panhandle.

I understand Gummy Bear is wearing his life preserver 24/7 and LD has his "floaties" on his arms. Glad our boys are all prepared! And classwife, keep that lake in the lake. That's the best place for it!

Gummy's floaties are pretty cute...looks like muscles...and he is in the middle of the state !

I don't mind the rain...but it also seems that the roof of my screen room has sprung several leaks.
I'll have to get up there and put down some patching gooey stuff when it dries out !

I was just looking at Intellicast and it looks like the rain is pretty well covering all of Florida.

I didn't see a single cloud here in Texas, but New Mexico has a couple little rain clouds floating around. I doubt if kgj needs to put on his swim fins though. LOL, he loves to get out there in those New Mexico dry lake beds with his swim fins and pretend he's playing in the water. You know, its so hot and dry out there in Alamogordo that they sell dehydrated water!

Hi Classy. I think this is the first time that I've seen you in here! :) Might be a good idea to buy a row boat.
j/j I hope it doesn't turn into a disaster.

TT my yard needs mowed............

Hi sweet jj2. classwife comes around here every once in a while to brighten up my life! And I'm for sure glad she does!

And I'll be on my way to mow your yard darlin,' is that sweet corn ready yet?

I'll tell ya, I've eaten corn all my life and as far as I was concerned it was just something to eat ... until I came to Illynoise and ate some fresh, sweet corn. Man, I mean ma'am, that stuff is addictive. I wish we could get it here, the Texas corn just doesn't compare.

I'm going back outside to play. Be back in a while!
